Check thermostat / thermistor.

that means the water condensate tank is full, you must unplug the unit, take it outside, unscrew the condensate tank plug cap, pull out the black rubber plug and let the water flow out until empty. then replace the plug, screw cap back on, roll inside, plug in and resume cooling. good luck! :)

No, a byproduct of cooling the air is condensation....or dehumidification... so in short.. if you want to cool the air you will also dehumidify it...

Did you use it at all last year?

My first impression is that it's just too small to use for your whole house... If this isn't the case, it may have lost some of it's refrigerant charge since last year, or may need the temp sensors serviced.

Buy some 1/2 thick rubber pads and put it under the unit, I am assuming it is on rollers or has feet. This should eliminate some of the problem

I think it may be a blown fuse.... My unit is doing the same thing except I'm not getting an error code on the display. I opened the unit and checked the fuse, it was definitely blown. I have to wait till tomorrow to get the new fuse to see if that fixes the load beeping and the non-responsive display.

well,if you think the unit turns as well as the compressor is running,no blowing of air,blower and fans are coupled at this type, if you hear hamming of blower fan,the capacitor is not working or theres no supply source on starting circuit.check capacitor disconnecting it besure switch breaker is off ,check performance using multitester,on resistance attached test rod to the two terminal of capacitor and tester set to 100k,if tester pointer deflect,then reverse the polarity of tester if deflect and sudden the pointer going back to original position,capacitor is good.if not go back the capacitor is busted,if not deflect its also defective.replace capacitor,have a nice day
