Hi, it seems like your transformer has only converted the power source to the approximate voltage but the frequency is off. Please take a picture of the error and show it to the store clerk where you purchased the transformer so that they can find a transformer that gives both the proper voltage and frequency. Thank you.

long drying is usually due to a bad venting set up or a bad moister sensor, a bad cycling thermostat? it is constantly running though right? if not a bad safety valve and coils can causit to go off and on and not dry well.

If it powers up but the motor doesn't work then one of the 2 power wires works. Find the 30 amp double breaker and shut it off and back on to reset it

Pressure may be low.

Yes it does have a belt. I'd say your assessment is almost bang on, based on your description and my experience. I've seen this many, many times...though the belt usually doesn't break it just comes off. Very common for Samsung dryers for whatever reason.

**Unplug the unit before proceeding...safety first**...

The good news is if it's accessible from the back you can simply remove the small panel around the exhaust tube as shown here,




if it's not you'll need to go from the front...do-able just a little more involved, let me know.

Once in the back the belt should look like this when routed properly, with the "V" grooves towards the drum and motor pulley.

i.e.
