Need to print a half-fold card envelope with HP Photosmart C4480
I'm printing wedding invitation envelopes (or A6) and had to set both my C4480 and psc1315 to a regular size 8.5x11 letter size but changed my margins to reflect the smaller size for my envelope with the left side of the screen being the more narrow margin. After adjusting the top margin accordingly, I fed the envelopes, flap side down and straight into the printer and voila...envelope addresses are printed. Good luck.

Eu comprei um cartucho novo,
Seu cartucho novo eh original ou compativel?
Limpe com cuidado os contatos dourados do cartucho com uma tirinha de folha A4 embebida com alcool, sem fazer muita pressao. Limpe tb. os contatos no fundo do carrinho de impressao, onde os contatos do cartucho se encaixam, da mesma maneira. As vezes fica um respingo de tinta num dos contatos e ao secar impede o contato eletrico.

Hello,
Make sure you are putting the right cartredge into the right slots. Some printers have the same size cartridge for all the colors and black. If you put one in the wrong slot the printer will not be able to recognize the electronic part of it. Also make sure to remove all the little plastic / tape that is usually on the cartridge when you first buy it.
If you know you put it in the right slot, try taking it out and placing it back it. It might need a simple "re-seat". If this still does not work, you may have a defective product. You then have a choice to buy another ink cartridge (note, you can not return opened ink). Or buy a new printer. IF the printer is under warranty you might want to take advantage of that as well.

There are several ways to resolve printer spooler error, probably because there are many variations of this error.
The error caused by faulty software can be resolved by deleting all the information found in the directory.
Thereafter, navigate to the Control Panel, click on Administrative Tools and then services icon.
Find the service labeled Print Spooler, highlight it and restart the process. If that doesn't work, the program might be corrupted.
Click on start, then Run. Search for the document labeled services.msc, and this will trigger the opening of another window.
On this window, scroll down and click "Print Spooler". Check its setting and turn on automatic mode.
Click Okay, and restart the machine. If you're lucky, this might be all you have to do.
Still doesn't work? Navigate to the Add/Remove Programs screen of the Control Panel.
Find the all the software responsible for making the printer run including the drivers, and uninstall them. Be sure to be thorough about it, or the problem may not be solved.
Download the latest copy of your printer's software from the manufacturer and reinstall it.

How can you clean print
just take out the ink cartridge and clean off the bottom of it, that is the print head. you may need to clean under the plastic piece that it sits in. That may have hair or fuzz on it that is dragging across print.

My photos print out grainy
Check your print quality settings in the print driver. Typically they can be set for Normal, Best, or Fast. If it is set to Fast, pages will print quicker but will not look as good.

Make sure that the printer is selected as a default printer if you go to control panel then select devices and printers. You will not be getting response from the printer if it is not selected as a default device. If it is already selected as a default device, try to uninstall all the printer driver and software then re-install them using the disk that came with it.
