Provo Craft Cricut Disney Font Cartridge - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
My Cricut Expression keeps turning on and off.
I would contact cricut because you may have a defective machine. I had an expression and cut one thing then it froze. We did the reset and that did not resolve the issue. Cricut had me send my machine back and they shipped a new one. Mind you they will put a charge on your credit card only to protect themselves. You just ship yours to them the way they tell you in the one you receive. Let me know if you do not have their contact number.

Dials not working
You may want to try resetting your Cricut to see if that fixes the problem. To reset the Cricut machine, turn the unit off for five minutes. Roll all the dials all the way up and all the way down five times each. Turn the Cricut back on. This is the manufacturer's reset process. Good luck!

Jpeg file onto a cricut
Cricut does not accept jpegs. They use their cartridges that come with the machine and others that you can purchase. However if you have Cricut Design Studio you can design your image with the cricut. Any further questions feel free to ask.

I have the cricut, It has worked before now it
The same thing is happening with mine. I probably haven't used it over 12 times! It came on initially, then went off. It hasn't come on since! Don't look to get any help from Provo Craft, as you've probably already found out. I can't find any place that repairs them, but on eBay they sell refurbished ones...odd. So, someone knows how to repair them!

The cricut does not cut through the paper, it only
Yes, there are three rollers that one adjusts your size of the image you are cutting that is on the right hand side of the machine. The other two are on the left side of the machine. The top one is your speed control and the bottom is your pressure. I would move it up to medium when cutting with cardstock or even up to high if it is thick cardstock. Hope this helps, any further questions feel free to ask me.

WHen the cricut is cutting it tears my paper even
After having the Cricut for many years, I finally figured out how to cut the intricate cuts. Use multi cut 2, speed on med (3) and pressure on 4. I also keep my blade at 4. It takes a lot longer to cut but it cuts out good!

My cricut will turn on but the lcd screen is black
Sounds like you have a bad connection in there. I would contact Cricut for tech support; they will probably be able to send you another machine to replace yours. Mind you they will put a charge on your card and remove it when they receive your machine. I hope this helps if you need their contact number get back in touch with me.

I find it very difficult
This may help: If your mat is too sticky, you need to prep your mat, sort of like "curring" your cast iron skillet when it is new. (I guess I just aged myself.)
Remove the clear plastic film from the mat. Pat both hands all over mat for several minutes. Next place a piece of cardstock (same size as mat) and remove, repeat 8-10 X. This should also reduce the "confetti" or leftover tiny paper pieces on messy mats.
Hope this helps!!

Cricut Expressions Machine error
- Make sure your cricut is off when you plug it
into your computer via usb.
- Make sure your usb cable is
plugged directly into the machine, and not to a usb hub.
- Start
up the DS Once the DS is
fully loaded, choose HELP > UPDATE FIRMWARE.
- On the
cricut machine, hold down the STOP button. Keep holding it down and
briefly hold down the power button. Keep holding down the stop button
and in about 3-5 seconds, you will hear a beep. That means you are good
to go.
- On the
"update firmware" screen on your computer, select the model you have and
then click "begin updating now"
- Go and read a magazine or
make a cup of tea because it takes a while to update. If it goes really
fast (no matter how cool your computer is) it means it did not install
properly and you will probably have to do it over again.
Hope this helps you.

LCD not working and not all buttons come on
I would contact Cricut as there is a way to reset your machine. Resetting your machine may fix the issue. If it continues after the reset Cricut may ask you to send the machine to them. They will however ship another to you after applying a charge to your card then removing the charge after you ship your machine with issues back to them.

I just opened the box from a TV ad purchase of the
Yes, the carriage does move to the right and it makes a funny noise as it moves. The cricut then should light up with display and power light. If yours is not then I would contact Cricut as you may have a defective machine. Just know they will put a charge on your card to ship another machine to you and will remove the charge when you ship your machine with issues back to them.
