Hey, I just bought one new and sealed from Joanne's and it's missing the booklet and any instructions, too! I'm online looking...I went to the www.NKOK.com website and sent them an email requesting one.

As I did get to look at it, the carriage is set up very similar to their plastic KX350 machine, so the levers on the side will be the same but will be more sturdier than the plastic bed.

If you are speaking of a flat bed knitting machine, if you have enough needles, all you do is move the end stitch over 1 needle and then either pick up a purl stitch from one of the stitches next to it and put on the empty needle or just leave it there (the latter will make an eyelet), that is one way to increase with the hand knit version of M1. If you search Knitting Machine Increasing, you will find many, some are mine where there are others that show the same thing. hope this helps.

As I had searched for your machine, it is quite different than the ones I have seen in my 25 years of machine knitting. I don't believe that Sears will help you on that and even if Sears did make that machine, it has been a long time since they had produced it. So it may be trial and error on how it works. From what I had seen, it looks to be a double bed already but I am not 100% sure on that. I bet that handle has something to do with it doing ribbing but again I am not 100% sure on it.
