How do you get the intercom off?

Not sure what you mean by "off". What is it doing and what do you want it to do specifically? Is it sending a tone or alert when an extention phone is called via intercom?

Instead of seeing the date and time on the screen

Walk up to the phone and press "*" or TRANSFER without picking up the handset. If you press it 3 times, you will get the 3 states of the display.

This works on the TA series systems (*) or TAW/TDA (TRANSF) systems.

I have a Panasonic KX-T7731

In a TA series, the doorphone ringing is controlled by system programming in 700-702.

If you have a different system model, try the manual under Doorphone Ringing.

Because auto hold is on, on hold music is not getting off

Wow, those are 2 questions not related to each other. When the phone is idle, press "1" on the keypad and the BGM (background music) will go off. ("1" toggles it on and off).

Now, personal speed dial number can be stored on the 12 Function keys on the right side of the phone by pressing PROGRAM the button, and dialing 9+ the number you want and STORE.

System speed dial numbers are entered from the phone connected to the first extension (usually 101) with the system programming code or also from the maintenance console on a TA-824 or TAW-848. The code is 001 after you're in programming.

The display reads "102:" on my T7731- how do I go back to time?

That is your phone's extension number (102).
Hang up phone and press the star key * one time.

Hope this helps!

Change time on kx-t7731

It also says somewhere that you press PROGRAM from the phone connected to jack #01 and you use the system password...or did you miss that part?

Because it's easy, here's a link to someone else's web site. http://telephonesetup.blogspot.com/2009/02/if-you-have-questions-please-call_4039.html

Intercom issue

Those are 2 very different questions. Since you both have display phones, look at them. A 7731 on a TA system changes state with the * button. There are 3; Extension, Time, Time & Date.

When she calls you, your Auto Answer button is probably lit. Press it so it turns off and haver her call you again. It should ring, but not always. The button can control a couple of things, according to programming. Now, have her press her AA button until it lights. Now call her. Voice call?

If none of this works, please provide your cabinet model number. It's listed on the side of the cabinet where all the phones plug in.

Caller id stoped working I dont know how to clear the old numbers

You're right. The CID buffer is 300. Now, somewhere there's a command to let new calls overwrite the old. Hmmm, why is that?
That's just the buffer size. From the attendant phone on intercom, dial 7373# and the Display will say Incoming Call Log ON. That lets the 301's call overwrite (7372# does not).

THis is the command set for a TA-824. It may be different if you have a TA-624, TAW-848, or any other sytsem that the 7731 may be plugged into.

Panasonic KX-TVA50 Voicemail

Be still my heart! I'm coming to Indy on Tuesday afternoon!

It's not the 7731/TVA-50 that's bad for business, it's the TA-824. Don't tell my Accountant, Restaurant, Machine Shop, and small business customers that. They might want their money back :-)

Are there any blinking lights on the TVA when you reset it? It indicates lost integration. We make sure we plug both the VM and the system into the same power strip so that the systems can restart together. The laughable part would be that you have your offices cleaned on Friday evenings and a cleaning crew turns off the power or uses the outlet that the system is plugged into.

A message can be displayed by pressing the MESSAGE button on the phone when it's idle. All messages can be cleared by dialing 700 0.

Voice mail forwarding to a cell phone covers a broad spectrum. You can forward the fact there's a message, the file, or just notify the cell that there's a call. Two of the 3 requires the LAN card, but it also forwards to email. The dummy is the installer who didn't leave setup instructions for the voice mail system...or was he smart? Hard to say :-)

Last, If you want to touch base with me, I can be reached at [email protected] where I can give you contact information. My Indy trip may be by way of Columbus, OH if I don't get the remote system to respond to programming. The Panasonic system can be accessed via remote after programming so it may be that I can take over the system and make it work for you.

Panasonic KX-T7731 phone cuts off/mutes on hold music

My guess is that you have a KXT-624 or 824 system.Follow the instuctions here: http://www.onholdplus.com/products/7000series_connect1.html

Then, if you get lucky, when you go to any system phone and press "1" without picking up the handset, the music will play.

If it doesn't and you don't get MOH, you may have to do some programming in system program 111.

WHEN I PRESS 102(RECEPTION) IT GOES TO 119

What happens if you dial 102? If it rings the receptionist, then you probably just have to reprogram the button. Without picking up the handset, press PROGRAM, the button marked 102, and dial 1 102 STORE then PROGRAM.

Now the button will dial 102.

If that doesn't work, check to see if 102 can be dialed from another phone. If they all go to 119, then someone set call forward at 102. It cancels with a 790 code on the intercom at 102.

Panasonic kx-t7330 suddenly cannot use intercom and phone calls

I'm guessing the phone is 8 years old and you spilled something into the keystrip.

Start by unplugging it to see if it resets. Then, look for a mechanical failure (sticky buttons, broken buttons, etc.). Some alcohol and a Q-Tip will clean the buttons, or carefully take the phone apart and wash out the housing.

Last, but not least, any of the new 7730/31/35/36 phones will replace that set.
