It's done on a Voice Mail System that's added to the telephone system using the "Automated Attendant" feature. Does the sp-phone work? if not, then you need to changethe speaker unit.also check the ringer switch on the right side.

Panasonic does not have a detailed user manual or download except the quick quide which does not solve any of the problems I have been viewing. I cannot get the link that Carl Navarro posted to work. Anyone else have the very thick manual as a pdf?

You need to get a voicemail system. The 7731 is just a phone, but it can be used to access Panasonic VM or Built In Voicemail in a TA-824 system. The external product is a model TVA-50 and it comes with documentation on how to interface it to your phone system. If you have an old KXT-308 or 616, or any other older Panasonic system prior to a TD-816/1232, you're going to have a problem.CarlCarl

The individual phone only shows the time that is stored in your phone system. Time change should have been programmed to your PBX. If you have caller ID, call one of the phone numbers in the system and see if caller ID updates the time on the system. On the individual extension, hit the info button several times to get a "refresh" of the time/date.

We have two phones KX-T7731 (Main phone) + KX-T7020 in another office. We talking on phone and another call comes in it use to ring on the spare phone. Now it does not ring until 4th ring and goes right into answering machine. It use to ring on second ring. Is there a way to program phone to ring on second phone after second ring?

What do you want to use to indicate the call is on hold? You can set it to Music on hold with no music, but the caller won't hear anything if you have no music. If you're talking about the recall on hold, it's adjustable in system programming, where you'll also find the On Hold programming.Carl

try and use (the star icon and 72 or 73)I think that is the code for telephone companies__one turns it on and one turns it off

System pool is 300 numbers, personal is 20. There are logging and overwrite options in Maintenance programming 9.3 or system program 737 and 738. Then you program buttons for CID-Select and CID-Indication for either personal, system or both. (2 buttons per feature).
