You can change the channel used by the phone in the settings, but the better option is to make sure the charger base is nowhere near the microware.

Also, make sure that the microwave and the charger base are NOT plugged into the same outlet. I would even try a different outlet than you are using now as interference would definitely pass through the line.

hi welcome to fixya since it was working fine before but due to accidentally dropped that is why you can not hear now anything like the dial tone so here is my solution first try to reset remove the battery and re install. then if still the same problem your next step is you are going to check the internal part to gain access the ringer speaker, now check the speaker might be damage at the same time check loose wiring and contact to the terminal of the speaker re soldered if needed .make sure you remove the battery while doing this to avoid not to damage other part. hope this will solved the problem thanks for consulting through fixya good bless.

We have a Panasonic that is starting to go stupid. After 4 or 5 years, with a fully charged battery we register it but it only stays registered for about a day or two. If yours is acting the same way, well cordless phones aren't that expensive anymore.

It could be as simple as replacing the battery with a new one from radio shack or such electronic places. But then again I don't know if it was damaged, dropped, or got wet, so this is my most reasonable solution.

try re-registering the phone, this symptom is typical of a phone that has lost its registration with the base unit

i think the linking circuit is been faulty if possible go & repair it

Check your battery level after talking for 10 or 15 minutes. Your battery could be weak and you might need to replace it if you see the bars dropping after using for a period of time.

Just spent a bit more time and resolved the issue by changing the number of rings before the answering machine comes on, thanks for your assistance.

2. battery takes a long time to - or never fully - charges
3. Handset will not turn on.
4. Handset gets hot during use.

The factory preset code is "11".

Call your phone from a touch tone phone. Enter your remote code (11, or whatever you set it to) during the greeting message. The number of new messages will be heard, and the new messages will be played.

You might try removing the batteries and unplugging the base unit. That will reset the system to factory settings. You will have to reprogram the system.

Sorry, there is no way to undo an erased message.
