My machine keeps showing a 33 everytime i take my
If the machine uses batteries, try removing them and replacing them with fresh high grade batteries. When you remove the batteries, also check for corrosion on the terminals and pressure springs. Use a baking soda paste on corrosion and remove after a few hours. Excess heat will cause a LCD display to malfunction. Check the wall adapter if you have one; make sure it is the right adapter for the machine. You would be surprised how many wrong adapters are used as they pretty much all look the same and are mistaken for one another. Lastly, if you have an expensive unit, it might be worth it to call and ask for the company to repair it at cost; since it's a health device, a company might just try to extend a little help that way. Good luck!
What range show my BP be in. 50 year old black
There isn't really a normal blood pressure, there is a continuum of
blood pressures among ppl at any age (for example, 50). By age 50,
about 1/2 of Americans will have a blood pressure that is higher than
what cardiovascular disease prevention guidelines have set as targets.
The goal blood pressure for a 50 year old person without any other
medical issues is <140/90. People at higher risk of developing
cardiovascular disease have correspondingly lower blood pressure
targets. People with kidney disease, diabetes or prediabetes (also
known as metabolic syndrome), and those with known cardiovascular
disease (heart failure or previous heart attack) should have a target
blood pressure of <130.80.

What is the data link for on the HoMedics #518729
There was supposed to be Healthvault software from Microsoft. Along with a optional USB adapter (from the micro port on the BP machine to the computer USB port) the software uploads the blood pressure data to a site where it can be shared electronically with those you choose, like several different doctors. I'm just researching this information having just bought a unit, but if you are persistant, you should be able to find the software link. Any micro USB to USB connector should work to connect to the computer. Merry Christmas and good luck! 12/25/09 by electro1
Reset my Walgreens digital weight scale
Im not familiar with the Walgreens brand scale, but with most digital scales, you use the following procedure to reset.
Step on the scale to turn on. Then step off. The scale will reset itself and read 000. Then step back on to get your weight.
Now, if for some reason it doesn't come back to 000, turn it over and remove the battery(s). Leave out for a minute to allow the electronic capacitors to drain. Then reinsert the battery and go through the process above to set 000.
Why does my Walgreens digital blood pressure monitor keep giving an ERR4 message?
Here are the top 3 reasons for getting errors: 1. You're using the wrong-sized cuff. If you are extra large, you need a larger cuff. 2. You've incorrectly positioned your body. Ideally, your arm should be at the level of your heart. 3. You've placed the cuff incorrectly. Make sure the cuff is on your upper arm and the stethescope is placed over the place you feel the strongest pulse. I hope that helps!
Blood pressure cuff does not inflate
If it is an older device then rubber seals may have dried out. If not in warranty and you are capable then take it apart and use olive oil on the rubbers. If it does not even pump then get a replacement.
I have a blood pressure
Much easier to go to a store, like Walgreens and get an inexpensive ( like 15 dollars) automatic wrist cuff blood pressure monitor, that will give you accurate and quick readings of your heart rate, and blood pressure, systolic and diastolic, automatically.
