My wrist moniter nearly sent
As an EMT, I have one these BP Monitors and have found it very reliable. However, it if is not applied correctly to the wrist, you can get false readings. Also, not having your arm/wrist at heart level could throw the reading off. If this happens again, switch arms and see if the readings are the same.
I'm also curious as to what the monitor showed your heart rate was? And was it regular or irregular?
This monitor is manufactured by Homedics for Walgreen and has a good warranty. If you still have concerns about it's accuracy, return it to Walgreens or follow the instructions in the Owners Manual about returning it to Homedics for repair of replacement.
Hope this helps to calm your anxiety.

Need instruction manual
Homedics makes several units that are virtually identical to the Walgreen counterparts. Why not try the Homedics web site? It has a support section. Be sure to list your model number as there are several wrist cuff models. If the web site doesn't help, either call Homedics or try a web search by listing your model number followed by 'manual'. I would have tried to find the manual for you but I don't know the model number. Good luck.
