Craftsman Garage Door Opener 1/2 HP Chain Drive - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
My remote sends a signal, the opener indicator flashes, but the door does not open?
The learn button is located on the garage door opener unit itself that hangs from the ceiling. If you follow the gray antenna up to the unit you will see a red/orange button on the unit. That is the learn button. When you push that button and amber LED will light up either above or next to the learn button. This indicates that the garage door opener is now ready to learn a new device. Press and hold the button you want programed on the garage door opener remote and release it. The garage door opener will click and the garage door opener light will go off and come back on (if the light bulbs are in working order). The amber LED will go out, repeat if you need to program anything else.
How do I troubleshoot a garage door sensor
Watch the lights, make sure they do not flicker or blink when you push the button. If they do, then you need to make a better contact by pointing them straighter. If not, then it's not a sensor problem it's probably force. Describe your issue more detail and I can give you a better answer.
