The hold downs on the bottom of the sink do not
Depending on the material that your counter top is made out of there are several options. If it is wood composite with a laminate covering you can mark the location of each hold down with the sink in place then remove the sink. Carefully use a high speep drill bit to drill a series of holes at each location beingcautious to stop at least a 1/4 inch less then the minimum depth required for clamps and then use a very sharp wood chisel by hand to remove material to fit.
If your countertop is corian or other man made composite you can use pure silicone caulking as it is an excellent adhesive when cured. It will take a minimum of 24 hours to set and 7 days to cure. You will need to be careful if you use silicone because it needs to have all excess cleaned up in a hurry or it will be difficult to clean . If you have a pretty good fit between sink and counter top I would use just spot applications and try to leave room for finish caulking after silicon cures. I use a product called polyseamseal for final caulking as it is latex base and you can get a very nice finish and it cleans up eassily. It is also a good adhesive when it cures.
Check manufactures recommendations as several will only honor warrenty if silicone is used. I hope this helps you. Thanks
