A wire wheel is bought from the same sort of supplier as you would buy a grinding wheel. The dimensions of the wire wheel should be similar to the grinding wheel it replaces, though the centre hole is usually larger and should be fitted and mounted with the correct size plastic bushes and steel retaining washers. The guard and the tool rest should not be used with a wire wheel for safety and of course there should be a hook nearby to hang a pair of safety goggles... Depends what parts are needed. Spare parts for something that goes wrong so rarely can be difficult especially if the machine is imported. Some parts will be fairly universal and so fairly easy to obtain - nuts, flanges, abrasive wheels, bearings, capacitor (if fitted) and possibly even the switch and tool rests.

Usually, 4 wires are multi-directional neutral and earth are usually colours the other 2 are both live and would need to go through a switch. you can of course put the other live in a cover and just use one live wired as usual into a plug. Make sure the spare wire is well protected ie in a jb with plenty of tape around it

Quick fix..eliminate switch and hook it up direct. Plug it into a cheap power bar that has an overload switch. Use THAT switch to control on/off on grinder

since this is a vague comment, I have to say that some small grinders just do not do well with blade sharpening. I have one that does the same thing when sharpening a blade. It is just too small, horsepower wise, to handle the job.

2 wires are not needed to use they are the wires of an supression capacitor on the switch then there are 2 wires from your power cable and 2 that goes to your motor that 4 you only you have to use you can also connect the 2 wires from the s-capacitor with te wires on the motor together thats is how its also correct, (but best is to remove it because its only for suppression for FM ukw radio signals and everybody has DAB+ and the change to have short-circuit is reduced.
