You should try replacing the batteries in the remote. If that doesn't fix your problem then you may have a bad remote.

Al momento de programar un nuevo remote el codigo anterior se borra por lo que el resto de remotos quedar?n inactivos por lo tanto todos los remotos que tiene deben ser programados al mismo instante, ademas ubique el boton de valet antes de proceder a programar.

Si Ud. tiene un remoto de 1 via (sin pantalla)
inserte la llave del auto en el switch y muevalo hasta la posici?n de on ( no es necesario prender el auto), luego regrese enseguida a la posici?n de off. esta sequencia por 3 veces, osea
1.- On - Off; On - Off; On. la llave se queda en on a la tercera vez.
2.- La sirena sonar? 3 veces
3.- Presione y mantenga presionado el bot?n de valet por 5 segundos
4.- La sirena sonar? 5 veces y la luz de la alarma se ilumina
5.- Presione el bot?n #1 (candado) en el primer remoto
6.- La sirena suena una vez
7.- Nuevamente presione el bot?n #1 en el primer control
8.- La sirena sonar? dos veces indicando que esta programado el remoto
9.- Repita los pasos 5 y 7 con el resto y cada uno de los remotos
10.- Regrese la llaves a la posici?n de off

Si Ud tiene un remoto 2 vias (con Pantalla)

1.- Inserte las llaves en el switch On -Off por cuatro veces dejando en On a la cuarta vez (On - Off; On - Off; On - Off; On.)
2.- La sirena suena 4 veces
3.- Presione y mantenga presionado el bot?n de valet por 5 segundos
4.- La sirena suena 4 veces y la luz de la alarma se enciende
5.- Presione el bot?n #1 en el primer remoto
6.- La sirena suena una vez
7.- Mueva la llave a la posici?n Off
8.- Repita estos pasos del 1 al 7 para otros remotos de 2 vias.

Hello, my name is Israel and I will try to help. I seriously doubt the problem is with the alarm. I would first check the alternator and starter. The problem could be a sticking diode on the alternator or solenoid with the starter. The alarms rarely pull any "power" from the vehicle. You can also disconnect the alarm and see if it is still drawing power.

Here is an old school trick. Disconnect the positive side of the battery. connect the test light between the positive lead and the battery positive post. If there is a "short" the test light will light up. If it lights up, got throught the different fuses pulling one at a time to see when the test light goes off. If you pull a fuse and the test light goes out, you have found your problem. Goood Luck.

sorry don't have a manual but when a fuse blows it usually means that something is shorting if you put a bigger fuse in and it does not blow you will probable cook your car wiring loom and it will catch on fire ,take fuse out and take it too an alarm fitter to get it fixed cheaper than a new car

yes, most gm cars/trucks made after 1988, and just about everything after the early nineties requires a bypass. DEI has a very easy to install and use bypass for these vehicles, the 555L is perfect. 4.6 Northstar V8. It is located on the rear of engine (driver side) in front. It is in the the water pump housing cover. Remove air box and intake tube and bottom radiator hose. 2 bolts(believe 10mm) on thermostat housing. These systems are a little finicky about air pockets....so fill slowly and let run at idle until operating temp and let cool and check level.....fill as needed and repeat if needed.
