Cadence Weslo 825 Treadmill Walking Belt Questions & Answers
Tredmill not moving
That's an embarrasing admission. A treadmill works like a conveyor belt or a car's fan belt. If it is too loose it will slip under load. There will be an ajuster on your treadmill. All you have to do is tighten the belt. Do not overtighten it though. an
How do you adjust the belt for a Weslo Cadence 815 treadmill?
Hi, I don't have a manual on your particular treadmill but most all treadmills use the same type of belt tension and tracking, which is an
allen screw adjustment on the rear tension bar. One on either side. You
should have been provided an allen wrench with your treadmill, if not
then use one of your own the proper size. Make the adjustment with the
unit running at its slowest speed. Clockwise tightens the tension and
will draw the belt. Good Luck, this should Fixya!
The belt keeps moving towards
There are Allen bolts on both sides of the bottom on the front (away from the console) of the treadmill. Turn one one way and the other the other way to adjust the belt. If this does not work, your belt is probably worn and stretched and needs to be replaced. See
Treadmill Parts to order a new one.
Belt is all the way
To get the belt to the center you will see two adjustment bolts on the very back of the machine that require an allen wrench to adjust. Whichever side the belt is going towards is the side you will need to tighten. The best way to do it is to turn it a half of a turn then try and run the machine. if that does not help then loosen the other side a half turn, continuing until it pulls that belt back to the middle.

Lubricating a treadmill
The only lube required is between the walking belt and the deck. You can get the lube from iconfitness.com. Lift the walking belt and squirt some on the deck from each side, underneath the belt in the area where you usually walk. Walk on it for a few minutes to spread the lube around.
We have a Cadence 825 treadmill and the display
either the console is bad (which is no longer available) or the control pwb is bad (available for $114 on iconservice.com) Check for power to the controller. Red light should be on. (you must remove the hood cover 4 screws 2 on the sides and 2 in the rear) If light is on the controller then more than likely you have a bad cosole as I said it is apparently no longer available.
My Cadence 825 is running on walking speed only
You actually used the opposite treatment that was needed when you used the lubricant spray. You want the belt to not slip but instead grab to the belt driver. Now, the lube should be removed and instead the powder that causes the belt to grab hold should be applied. You may want to call any treadmill store and ask them what they charge to do a maintenance on a treadmill like yours.
The walking belt slips to the left when walking
There are two allen bolts (one on each side) at the end of the machine. These bolts adjust the tension on the belt. If they are not adjusted evenly the beft will gradually shift of the more loose side.
