Ifit treadmill will not incline but everything

You may need to calibrate the incline. Do this with the following procedure.
Safety key out
press the stop and speed up buttons at the same time while inserting the safety key. (you are now in diagnostics)
press the stop button one time only.
now press the incline up button (incline motor should start moving up)
incline will go up to the top and then all the way to the bottom. when it gets done you can remove the key. Reinsert the key and you should be operating normally.
Good luck Tim

I have a Proform Treadmill XP550 that will not

use the software calibration for easy diagnostic and fix it. God bless you The Steps for Newer Style Console Calibration 1. Locate the calibration area on the rear or underside of the console (a hole, near the console's center, that goes through to the electronics board. (This hole should not have a screw in it.) 2. Insert a pencil (eraser end), into the hole and feel around for the cal button (will click when pressed). 3. Press the button 2 times (with the pencil eraser). The first click should show CL11 in the console, the second click should show CL21. 4. If the process was done correctly, and CL21 appears in the console, you are in "calibration mode." The next few steps consists of pressing buttons on the console and observing settings. This will not require any other tools. 5. Press ENTER. CL22 should display in the TIME window and (??) in the SPEED window. 6. Press ENTER. CL23 should display in the TIME window and (??) in the SPEED window. 7. Press ENTER. CL24 should display in the TIME window and (??) in the SPEED window. 8. Press ENTER. CL25 should display in the TIME window and (??) in the SPEED window. 9. Press ENTER. CL26 should display in the TIME window. You should then see the letter "E." 10. Press ENTER. You should see "SS" or "55" in the console. 11.Push the STOP/START button. For safety, at this point, you should step off, or be off, the treadmill. 12. Push the ENTER button. The walking belt should start to move, accelerate to maximum speed, then stop on its own. 13. When the belt stops, the incline should self test by raising to its highest incline position, then lowering back down to its lowest position. 14. Once the incline test is complete, push the POWER button 2 times. The unit should shut off and the console should go completely blank. If this happens, the treadmill is done calibrating and is ready for use. If the letter "F" appears in the SPEED or INCLINE window when the power button is pressed 2 times, the treadmill is indicating a failure somewhere either in the SPEED or INCLINE (depending on the window the "F" appeared in). Troubleshooting the failure would be the next step.

My treadmill is stuck at the highest incline and

Although it is fairly rare the incline motor can jam up into the highest position and get stuck there. To fix this take off the plastic hood that covers the incline motor and depending on the motor you should be able to wind it with your hand out of the highest position. When it is out of the highest position run the calibration as described in the owner's manual and it should go all the way up and all the way down. If it is not this type of motor that can be wound by hand then the first and last thing to do is to try calibration of the incline as described in your manual. If this does not work then a new incline motor is needed.

I have aproform 770 ekg after 10 minutes of work

Hello Garnica. If it is tripping the reset it could be a bad reset switch. If you are running the treadmill on an extension cord, that can cause it.

It could also be the walking belt needs lubrication. To test the belt lubrication, do not turn the treadmill motor on. Set the elevation to the highest level. Stand near the front of the walking belt. Push yourself firmly toward the rear of the treadmill. If the belt is properly lubricated the belt will take you to the rear edge of the treadmill and dump you off on the floor. If you move and stop, the belt needs lubricating.

Go to [www.searspartsdirect.com] to order the lubricant. To find the right one enter your model number. The application instructions should be in the package, but in case they are not here is how to apply the lubrication.

Turn the walking belt until the belt seam is along the top of the front roller. Raise the belt on one side in the center of the walking board front to back as high as you can. Apply ½ the tube of lubrication to the walking board in a zig zag fashion moving from front to back. Move the belt until the seam comes up on top of the rear roller and lift the belt again and put the rest of the lubrication on the walking board in the same manner. Turn the treadmill on and walk on the belt for 10-20 minutes. Walk all over the belt to distribute the lubrication evenly on the walking belt and board. Joe

4 thumbs up please. ty

My IFIT treadmill 860 keeps turning off after 2 mins why

This machine has what they call a thermal switch. It is designed to shut the machine off if it gets too hot. This heat is caused by friction. Friction is caused 99% of the time by the walking belt or the drive belt. If it is the drive belt then it can be solved by either applying a treadmill lubricant (must be made for treadmill belts) or by purchasing a new belt. If you feel the underneath side of the belt and you feel a screen door type feeling you just need lubricant. If you feel a smooth surface you will probably need a new belt. If you have lubricated in the past year and your belt has the screen door feel then take off the motor hood cover and check the drive belt. If it is worn then you will need to replace that. You can purchase either of these products from the manufacturer, at www.iconservice.com. a couple of other places that may have them for discounts are www.ebay.com, www.fitnessrepairparts.com, or www.treadmilldoctors.com.

My belt is over to one side to much

If the walking belt has shifted to the left, first remove the key and UNPLUG THE POWER CORD. Using the allen wrench, turn the left rear roller adjustment bolt clockwise, and the right bolt counterclockwise, 1/4 of a turn each. Be careful not to overtighten the walking belt. Plug in the power cord, insert the key and run the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat until the walking belt is centered. If the walking belt has shifted to the right, first remove the key and UNPLUG THE POWER CORD. Using the allen wrench, turn the left rear roller adjustment bolt counterclockwise, and the right bolt clockwise, 1/4 of a turn each. Be careful not to overtighten the walking belt. Plug in the power cord, insert the key and run the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat until the walking belt is centered.

It runs just fine, then you get on and it slows down

This means that the motor is having to work too hard to rotate. It could be one of a couple of problems. If the machine is old then it potentially could be the motor itself. it may be going bad. On most models the motor has a lifetime warranty so you can check your owners manual for that. If you have not lubricated your walking belt in over 3 years or so then it could simply be a lubrication issue. To check this stick your hand on the underside of the walking belt and feel the belt. It should feel like a screen door. If it is smoothed down then there could be too much friction that is not allowing the belt to turn. When you pull your hand it should feel like you have been eating popcorn, kind of oily.

Will my ifit treadmill card work in an incline

Technically, the Incline Trainer and the treadmill are two different type of machines. The incline trainer raises much higher so the card that is designed for the treadmill will not work on the incline trainer unfortunately.

Proform crosswalk caliber elite cuts off after 10 minutes of use

Here are some possible causes and solutions: Overheating: If the motor or electronics of the treadmill get too hot, the machine may shut down to prevent damage. Make sure that the treadmill is placed in a well-ventilated area and that the air filters are clean. You can also try lubricating the walking belt to reduce friction. Faulty speed sensor: If the speed sensor is malfunctioning, it may cause the treadmill to shut down. You can try cleaning the speed sensor with a soft cloth and see if that helps . Worn walking belt: If the walking belt is worn or damaged, it may cause the treadmill to shut down. You can try replacing the walking belt and see if that helps. Electrical issues: If there are any electrical issues with the treadmill, it may cause the machine to shut down. You can try resetting the circuit breaker or unplugging the treadmill for a few minutes and then plugging it back in. If none of these solutions work, it may be best to contact Proform customer service.
