94 200 hp evinrude ocean pro 20ft hydra sport.

Sounds like you have a serious drag or weight issue on the boat.Could also be the wrong propeller for the setup. If that is not it try cleaning carbs with seafoam and adding seafoam to fuel.

I have a 50hp 2007 yamaha 2 stroke

Did you change your fuel? If you are trying to use the same fuel from last year without being stabilized then that would cause your problem. I know that you already had your carbs cleaned but it sounds like something els got plugged up in them. If you have fresh fuel then I would take the carbs back apart and check your jets in the carb to ensure that there is nothing obstructing any of the orifaces in the jets. I am a boat mechanic and I have had to take carbs apart 2-3 times sometimes if they were varnished really bad to make sure I got all of the gunk out.

70 hp johnson outboard,was running

Well, the black smoke is most likely from too much fuel, perhaps a stuck open float valve in a carb. Fix right away, or risk engine damage. Carb surgery is next on your list.

I have Yamaha 50 2008 2 stroke. I had problem

Need to do a spark test to ensure all cylinders are firing but the carb may need to be cleaned. Yamaha carbs have smaller fuel/air holes so they get clogged easier than others.

The motor will not go into forward or reverse

It is either in the motor, or the controls.

Disconnect shift cable and check it over.
If the end can pull in and out it should be obvious if you need to replace the cable.

Likewise, with battery DISCONNECTED, once the shift cable is off, try to shift it to FORWARD GEAR only. See if the prop engages. Turn it by hand. It should ratchet in the clockwise direction and "catch" in the counter-clockwise. If it won't, you have trouble with the motor.

4 stroke Yamaha 50HP -Runs rough at all throttle levels

If it has the old points system you will need to set the points also adjust the carburatior screw the screws all the way in and back out 2 1/2 turns then get it to run turn the air mixture screws till it runs smooth. you want it slightly lean then enrichen it slightly, afterword shut the engine down and look at the plugs if they are gray black they are ok. good luck.

How can i make an electric start engine be a pull

Depending on the make and model they make kits for it. You would need a recoil system, rope, etc. It is not a five minute job but if you had all of the right parts a expierienced mechanic could do it in a day.

I am reasonably able mechanically. How complicated

Hello there:
Usually if its just a water issue and it has not damaged the castings from sitting you can remove the carb, fairly easily dissasemble it if needed and spray it out well with carb cleaner Make sure to use a lint free rag and wipe down alll of the parts after you have sprayed them and left them sit for 2-3 min and than respray reassmble it. if any o-rings are cut or swelled they will have to be replaced. a service manual will have all the pics nessisary. its a simple carb though. for repair and the price for replacement parts are fairly cheep ok?
best regards michael

1974 Johnson 70 hp outboard, quits on acceleration.

It sounds like your motor is starving for fuel. At an idle, you have adequate flow to keep the engine running. When you call for more fuel...you sputter and quit. Could be a clogged filter or trash in the line or in a jet. Yes you will have some air in the bulb, but not a great deal. You could be sucking air at a hose connection (loosing some prime)...try this, start the engine and slowly accererate, have someone pump the bulb as you accelerate, see if the engine works properly while doing this test.
