FT-11r no longer powers up with a known fully
It's unlikely leaving the battery pack attached ruined the radio, unless it leaked and corroded the contacts. Be sure they're clean and bright. Double check to be sure the battery pack really is charged to rated voltage.
Powering the Yaesu FT-11R
The battery select determines whether you're using a NiCd or Alkaline battery, I believe the "adjust" is used to put the radio into service mode. If there's not an "auxiliary power input" you can hook up the bench supply to, check the battery output for the voltages and polarities, and hook up your supply accordingly.
Reset vx 5
Turn your VX-5 off, then press Band + HM/RV + TX PO and turn on.
I'am having some problems with vxa-100 getting verry hot
The walkie talkie is the heat sink. So on extended talk times, it will get hot. So will the battery. If you run full power, it is only worse. That said, some batteries will become abnormally hot with use. Usually OEM batteries are higher quality cells and seem to get a little less hot. Never buy the cheapest battery for a handheld radio. Some are pure junk.

I have an FT-51R and
Carefully clean the contacts on the battery and the radio. The contact area is so small that the slightest amount of oxidation or corrosion will prevent the radio from working.
Yaesu FT 11R
figured out how to solve this, with the radio off, push and hold both up and down scan buttons, while powering the radio on. This will fix the problem.
My Vertex Standard VX-2200 display blinks continuously and when i press the ptt button it say error
Not enough power. The radio requires a steady 12 VDC input, or in a vehicle, 13.2 VDC. You did not mention if this is a 25 or 50 watt radio. I guess 50 watt. This occurs often when the wire is too thin for the amperage required. Get thick wire or the harness may not provide enough amps and it will get really, really hot! The wiring harness from Vertex is the best one. If you have checked all your wiring AND the power connections, it is less likely a programming error. Let us know!
Vertex 354, will not power on
Is it plugged in? Is not the server/plug that connects to your cable turned on? See if your power charger is turned on first. If it's not on, your machine might not be on either.
