oil out of the exhaust means that the oil /fuel mixture is incorrect change the mix to 50:1 ( for the correct mixture there should be a faint wisp of smoke at rpms) the chain is oiled automatically when the chain is running and the oil will leak out if left with a full oil tank and unused the idling problem most likely will be from the incorrect oil/fuel ratio or incorrect oil in use --it is not engine oil but 2 stroke oil do not use e mix fuels in small engines

Possibly bad switch remove one of the wires to switch and try. If still no fire probably bad coil.

50:1 consider using stihl 50:1 oil as it is made to run in any 2 stroke engine at any ratio that way you only need one fuel tank correctly mixed for all 2 stroke operations

Check fuel lines in tank make sure they are not broken or have hole in it. You will probably have to rebuild the carb. As you know you have fire and it will run with proper fuel.

Your Home lite equipment will have a model information plate located on the unit. (silver colored) It includes the model number and the serial number. First model no - UL and then below it is the serial number. Check the handle.

That could be 1 of several things (carburetor, air leak, a pinhole in the gas hose, to name a few). You may as well just rebuild the carburetor and replace the hoses and that should take care of it if it is done right.
