LEAKS OUT THE PUMP

Thank you for posting your question here on Fixya.com.

The pump seal and/or volute gasket in the pump have failed and need to be replaced.

In general the process is the same for any brand...Disassemble the motor from the pump, lock the motor shaft at the end opposite the pump, spin off the impeller (which may be covered by what is called a diffuser), replace both halves of the seal (one is pressed into the pump housing and the other rides against or on the back of the impeller) and assemble in reverse order.

While it is apart, check the oring recessed in the cover or body for nicks or compression damage. Replace it if you find any. The seal is usually a #200 in Aquaflo pumps. Part should be under $15 and available from a local pool/spa store or a pump repair shop in your area. You may want to take the old parts with you to ensure proper replacements.

How many gallons per minute does this pump move?

From what I can see, under ideal conditions, about 90 gallons per minute for a 1.5 HP, 1.5 inch pump of another manufacturer.

Low water pressure

If you had any blow back when the power went off then the impeller might have spun off the shaft of the motor. If you take it apart the impeller should be almost touching the pump seal plate. It should also be even against it. If it is uneven or has a space behind it you might have to replace it. Also you can check the "O" rings inside the pump to see if your bleeding pressure back to the suction on the pump. I hope this helps.

I bought a new Aqua flo single speed pump but it came in as a 3400 RPM unit instead of a 1700. Can I wire the pump to a slower speed and if so how?

Probably not ... 1725 and 3400 <> are standard speeds for electric motors. See if your dealer will make an exchange for you for the proper speed pump.

Question edited for clarity. Question moved from Computers category. Yes if you swap everything that is connected to electricity over to 220 volts. It is marketed as a 110 volt spa eliminating the problems of running 220 volt power. https://www.google.com/search?q=lifesmart+ls350+plus+220+volt ..

My Maax 461 Spa Heater heats constant until overheat and trips out until manually reset. If jets not turned on, the heater will overheat and trip. Acts like contacts stuck?

Question edited for clarity, 'till' refers to turning over soil, 'tilling', 'until' is the word you need. That sounds like a thermostat problem. The heater should only be on when water is circulating, even if it is just in the standby mode before the high pressure jets are turned on. Contact your installer or one of the parts suppliers in the link. It is unlikely to need a new mainboard. https://www.google.com/search?q=Maax+461+Heater ..

OH Code how to correct so Spa runs?

OH Code is Overheat, so all the things you tried are not relevant. Low flow is normally the reason, too much heat build up in the heat exchanger so it cuts out. So, the next time your spa throws you a OH, OHH or some other "overheat" error code, you know what to do. Clean or replace the spa filter, open all the jets and turn the pump on high. If you still have problems, check over your temp sensor and high limit circuits for wire, plug or sensor problems.
