The One For All 3 Device Universal Remote Control is preprogrammed at

the factory to operate an RCA TV, a Toshiba DVD player, and a Motorola

cable box.To control devices other than the default brands,perform the following
steps; otherwise skip this section:

[1] Turn on a desired device (e.g.,VCR or DVD player) and, if

applicable, insert media (e.g., cassette or disc).

NOTE: Please read steps 2 through 4 completely before proceeding.

Highlight or write down the codes and device you wish to program
before starting step 2.

[2] On the remote control,press a device key once (i.e., DVD/VCR,
CBL/SAT,or TV).

NOTE: To program control of a VCR, PVR (or DVR),TV/VCR Combo,

or TV/VCR/DVD Player Combo press DVD/VCR once.After programming

a VCR Combo device, you will be able to control channel selection,

volume, and VCR functions.

NOTE: To program control of a DVD Player,DVD Player/VCR

Combo, or TV/DVD Player Combo, press DVD/VCR once.After programming

a DVD Combo device, you will be able to control channel

selection, volume, and DVD functions.

NOTE: To program control of a Cable Box, Cable Box/PVR (or DVR)

Combo, Satellite Receiver, or a Satellite Receiver/PVR (or DVR)
Combo, press CBL/SAT once.

[3] Press and hold SET until the LED (red light) blinks twice,
then release SET.

[4] Use the Manufacturer's Codes (starting on page 18) to

locate the type of device and brand name and then enter

the first four-digit code for your device. If performed correctly,
the LED will blink twice.

NOTE: If the LED did not blink twice, repeat steps 2 through 4 and enter
the same code again.

[5] Aim the remote control at the device and press POWER

once.The device should turn off. If it does not, repeat

steps 2 through 5, trying each code for your brand until

you find one that works. If it still doesn't work, try
Searching For Your Code on next page.
NOTE: If the device does not have a POWER key, press PLAY

[6] Repeat steps 1 through 5 for each device you want to control.

For future reference,write down each working device
code
OK.

There is no 'SETUP' button, but you use a combination of device keys and the 'SET' button. Depending upon the device you want to set up, the instructions are long and you need the manual. The manual can be download in PDF format at

Westinghouse TV/VCR combo is not lited with One for all URC-4021 codes. OK.

You can control your Symphonic TV only with your URC-4021. Thce codes are 0180 & 0171. Magnavox VCR/DVD combo is not listed with codes of this remote model. To get blue menu screen on TV when you switch ON your magnavox, you should select the input of TV to AV. Then only you can receive signals from your DVR. Some Symphonic sets will have more than one AV connection. You haven't mentioned the model number of your Symphonic, or given nothing about its connections you have done the DVR with TV. Anyway, you have to select the input of the TV to AV. If you want anymore assistance, feel free to get me by FixYa. OK.

One for All has the code list for the URC-4021 here: http://www.oneforall-na.com/remote.php?type=URC%204021 . The link is at the bottom of the page in the right hand column. Some examples:

Please note that the codes in a universal remote are limited to those for devices released at least 6 months before the remote was programmed. If your devices are newer, then you may need a newer remote.

I strongly urge you to check that all functions of the TV work on a given code in the remote if multiple codes are listed. If you have a device from a manufacturer that isn't listed, check with Google or write a comment. I may be able to find a code that will work for you. The device may have been made by another company and the codes for the OEM manufacturer may work.

can u be little more precise in your questioning,
most of the social networking sites and E mail some times will not open due to heavy traffic
load, try after some time, or try doing a ping test http://www.whoisxy.com/ and check if it resolves to find if the
site is active

In the CBL/SAT or TV mode, use the FAV key to start a 3-second scan of all

channels.Or, if programmed, use the FAV key to scan only your favorite
channels to view a desired channel

Press CBL/SAT or TV once.

Press FAV once.

• IfFavorite Channel Scan has been set up, scanning of

favorite channels will start with up to 100 channel changes
or until stopped by pressing any key.

IfFavorite Channel Scan has not been set up, scanning

will start with the current channel, and continue up to
100 channel changes or until stopped by pressing any key.

To stop scanning channels at any time, press any key
once.

Insiginia is not liste with the remote contro you specify here. It is possibe to get the code for your TV by search method.

Throughout the programming

of each key, be sure to keep the remote

pointed at the IR sensor of the

component you are currently
programming the remote to control.

Press and release the ON•OFF key

repeatedly until your component

turns off. Wait 4 seconds between

each key press. Each time you press

the ON•OFF key, the illuminated

ON•OFF key blinks, and the next

code is sent. The Brand Code

Search begins with the first code in

the chosen brand list for that

component and cycles through all

the codes for that brand. If your

component turns off, you have

found the correct code. (If it cycles

through and the illuminated

ON•OFF key blinks four times and

turns off, all codes in the chosen

brand lists have been searched. The
Brand Code Search mode is exited.)

GOOGLE your remote with CODES in the search engine.
EX: (URC-4021 codes) or you can google the device you are trying to program with "codes".

Any remote supporting Sylvania TV/DVD combos will work for these tvs. I had a Zenith universal remote working with this TV.
