What codes do I use on the urc 9910 for att u-verse?

I don't think att u-verse existed when the 9910 were made so there probably isn't a code in the remote. And as far as I can tell the upgrade program for codes for new products is dead, dead, dead. The only option I know is to use the JP1 connector under the battery door to program a new code. I just added several links to information on this to the tips & how to's section for this. If you are good with computers check them out. Scrool to the bottom of the link to find them. Good luck! Troubleshooting Support for One For All URC 9910 LCD Remote Control

Need codes for my LG TV

First try all the codes listed under LG TV in the manual. If none of those work ther probably isn't a code that will work in the remote. I have had no luck in calling the number in the manual to get new codes downloaded into the remote via phone. I also sent an email asking for a replacement that would operate my DirecTV Genie DVR. This was their Guaranty when they sold the 9910. They simply told me they would not honor it. And I told them very clearly what I thought of them, not that it helped solve the problem. But there may be a solution! Under the battery compartment on the remote is a connector. On this model it is a JP1 (Not a JP1.1, JP1.x). You will have to find a cable with JP1 on one end and something that will connect to a port on your PC. Then you may be able to download a free program and add the LG TV code to your remote. And also do a lot of other amazing things. Warning, I have not been able to do this. I do not know how to 'configure a port', but if you have these and other computer skills maybe it will work for you. Here is a link to get you started: http://www.hifi-remote.com/jp1/ Good Luck!

NEED TO ADD CODE TO URC REMOTE

Try these instructions and see if they work for your genie remote. First, have your Genie Mini receiver connected and powered on. Next, grab your RC71 remote and simultaneously hold the "MUTE" + "ENTER" buttons until you see a box appear on your TV screen that says "Applying IR/RF Setup. Please Wait" (this appears after about 5 seconds of holding those buttons). Once complete another dialog box will appear and read, "Your remote is now setup for RF." Click "SELECT" to exit that screen. Next, click the "MENU" button, scroll down to "Settings & Help", then click on "Settings", scroll down to and click on "Remote Control", then click "Program Remote". Next you will have two options, either "Program TV" or "Program Audio Device". Click "Program TV", this takes you to a screen where you need to select what BRAND your TV is. After you have selected your TV brand you will have to select the TV Model ( I recommend looking at the sticker on the back of your TV for the accurate Model number or using your current TV remote to find the model number from the menu screen on your TV for fastest and best results). Once the correct model number is selected, AIM your RC71 remote at the TV and it will AUTOMATICALLY program!

I have a lg tv 21 inch but i forget my remote number plz help

0056 is the only code listed in the manual for LG TV. http://www.manualslib.com/manual/302162/One-For-All-Urc-9910.html If this doesn't work you will need a connector cable between a computer and the remote and some computer skills to use the JP1 connector under the battery compartment door to find and add a new code to the remote. JP1.x connectors will need an adapter to fit. http://www.hifi-remote.com/jp1/help2/ http://www.hifi-remote.com/jp1/ will get you started. Any search for JP1 REMOTE PROGRAMMING should get many results too. I have about a dozen of these remotes but they are so old many of the codes are out of date. I have not been able to make any of the JP1 cables I have work on my computer. I was lost when it told me I needed to configure a port. While these are/were fantastic remotes regardless of their low price, you have to remember they have been out of production for many years. One For All stopped the phone upgrade code program were they would find the code for new equipment and program it into your remote over the phone. They will not honor it's Guarantee to replace it with a remote that will work you IR equipment. I contacted them with my receipts and was rudely refused, then ignored. Good luck! Ron

I have a LG TV & need code for one for all remote URC3021B00

LG started out as Goldstar, merged with Lucky Corp., to become Lucky Goldstar, LG ;-)

Although your remote doesn't list any codes for LG, one of the Goldstar codes may work.
Try 0030, 0056, 0178.

If that doesn't work you may have to try the "Search for Code" feature by first turning your TV on, then follow these steps:

1.On the remote control, press TV once
2.Press and hold SET until the LED (red light) blinks twice,
then release SET.
3.Enter 9 - 9 - 1.The LED will blink twice.
4.Aim the remote control at the TV and slowly alternate
between pressing POWER and TV. Stop when the TV turns off
(after pressing POWER). If the device does not have a Power
key, you can substitute another function, such as digits 0 ~ 9 ,
CH, or PLAY).
NOTE: In the search mode, the remote control will send IR codes from
its library to the selected device, starting with the most popular code
first.
5.To lock in the code, press and release SET.The LED will
blink twice.

The URC-3021 is a 2004 basic model without any learning capability, if you are unable to find a code, it may be time to buy a new remote.
There are newer, low cost universal remotes available at Walmart, Target, K-mart, and other retailers, that should have a more up-to-date code list.

Hope this helps, Greg

Need program code and instructions for a memorex

The original instructions do not list Memorex as a maker of DVD players.

One forum says it might be DVD 0695, 0831, or 1270, but does not say if that was before or after a code upgrade from One For All.
Search for URC-9910 to find a complete instruction manual.

Also try "SEARCHING FOR YOUR CODE", although tedious, it may work:

SEARCHING FOR YOUR CODE

1. Turn on the TV and or device to program.
2. On the URC-9910 remote control, press and hold
SET until you see the display change from the
current device and time to [CODE SET].

NOTE: To exit programming at any time, press EXIT once or
allow 30 seconds of inactivity to lapse.

3. Press the DOWN key on the 4-way pad once until you see the display change to [MAN SEARCH].

NOTE: If you go past [MAN SEARCH], press the UP key one or
more times to return to it.

4. Press SELECT once to begin programming. You will
see the display change to the last-selected device
and its code (e.g., VCR and 0035).

5. Press a desired device key once (e.g., DVD).You will
see the display change to the desired device and the
first code in the manual search list (e.g., DVD and
0047).

6. Aim the URC-9910 remote control at the device
(e.g., DVD) and press SELECT once. You will see the
LED (red light) blink and the (IR) icon flash
indicating IR codes are being transmitted.

7. If the device (e.g., DVD) turned off, skip to the next
step. If it did not turn off, aim the URC-9910 remote
control at the device (e.g., DVD) and press the UP key
once to advance the manual search to the next code
(e.g., DVD and 0054).Again you will see the LED (red
light) blink and the (IR) icon flash.
Repeat this step as often as needed until you find a
code that turns off the device.

8. To save the working code, press SELECT once. The
display will confirm your entry with [SUCCESS] and
then [EXIT SETUP].

Whats the difference

a digital tuner has one advantage only, the stations can be pre -set.
a digital reciever uses a pll synsethizer to generate a signal to lock on the station,an analog tuner is subject to more drift, and as well the sensitivity is a hair less, but if you get a tuner with fet front end transistors,it will sound better.
alot of people say that the hysterisis signal is more evident on a digital tuner.
buy an old marantz or pioneer from the 70s.
the marantz 2275 is 75 watts a side and will outdo todays 500 watt home theatre amps.
they do not build them like that anymore.
