You will see two things on each side that look like tabs. That is actually a drawer that goes all the way through from one side to the other. If you push on one side, the drawer will slide out the other side, exposing the batteries.

Probably the sensor is damaged and time to replace the scales unless it is still under the manufacturers warranty, in which case, return it for service.

Hold the two arrow and set buttons together for a few seconds and it may clear.

I have never known a food scale take a 9 volt battery. Mine takes x CR2032 3 volt button battery. Google make model manual

O-ld is 'overload'. There are some fixes here. The first thing I would do is remove the battery and leave it overnight. Replace the batteries with new ones. Chris try leaving the battery out for ten minutes and then place it in scales

The replacement battery could be defective or incorrectly installed. Aside from that, the the scales may have simply failed.
