I posted this for Chiefbvf earlier: The thermal cutoff switch part number is 36TMH0110603L320-32F (cuts off between 320 and 332F), which I can't find for sale. There is a slightly different one available, however, which cuts off between 315 and 350F, but I can't find an outlet that sells singles. If you can find someone who sells individual parts with serial no: 36TMH0110539L315-50F let me know.

It has nothing to do with the spring or its tension. I have had 3 of these coffee makers now. Each on has started leaking water from the reservoir after some amount of time. If you carefully look at where the rubber washer/spring thing is, right above the hole where it goes in, you will see a small "crack" in the plastic that develops after repeated use of this coffee maker. That's where the water is coming from. Each one of the reservoirs I have had has developed this crack in the plastic right there. It is a design flaw. I will never buy one of these again.

If you type in the part number in Google, several repair parts dealers should show up. If they can't help you, try contacting the service department at B&D directly to see if the part is available. Sometimes, the manufacturer won't sell certain parts to anyone except authorized service centers.

The thermal cutoff switch is probably stuck (blown) open and won't reset. It mounts on (against) the heater unit, and the part number is 36TMH0110603L320-32F (cuts off between 320 and 332F). Be sure the carafe is pushed all the way back. It must push the lever on the back of the machine in order to open the valve on the filter holder

Used/Cannibaliized Replacement parts for ODC 325 B&D Spacemaker Coffee Makers are regularly sold on eBay, including the entire water reservoir or even the water valve in bottom of the reservoir (the leaky old one can be pushed out from the inside of the reservoir, and a non-leaking used replacement valve can be pressed in in its place).I sometimes buy an old broken ODC 325 cheaply on eBay as a source of parts.

Which components of the Black & Decker SpaceMaker ODC325 Coffee Maker are you referring to? Hanging the entire assembly under a kitchen cabinet, inserting the water reservoir or coffee holder into the unit, or what?

I keep a second ODC 325 machine for canibalization. The black rubber water valve assambly can be repaired (I did it 2 weeks ago) but it takes some creativity.
