Faucet continually drips in off position

If its leaking when faucet is in off position than seats and springs will need to be replaced. To do this shut off water to faucet both hot and cold. The handle is held on by a allen head set screw on the back side of handle . Loosen set screw and carefully remove handle, this make take alittle persuasion but don't force it. Carefully rock back and forth and tap lightly on base of handle .When you get handle off the round cap assembly will need to be removed,it has serrations at bottom to grip it withchannel lock pliers. You need to be very careful here and not use too much force because if you do you will twist copper fittings inside of faucet and ruin it. If it does not come loose fairly easily by turning counterclockwise you can use a mini hack saw or just hacksaw blade and carefully split cap on back side. Go slow stopping often to make sure you don't go any deeper then absouletly neccesary. If you slightly mark retaining threads it's not terrible. Most of the cut is not to bad because all parts immediatly underneath are easily replaced. When you get almost all the way thru take a large blade screwdriver insert in slot you have cut and twist back and forth to break cap the least of the way. Cap will be easy to remove now, take it off and pull out control ball along withrubber seal. There will be a small round rubber seat on bottom, one for hot and one for cold remove them and springs underneath them.Replace all parts that may have been damaged.needless to say you will need cap and seat and springs at the least.Repair kits are redily available just follow instruction and you should be fine.I know it's a pain but if you take your time you can save a good faucet. Hope this helps. Thanks

I pulled the sprayer out

The flex hose for the sprayer can be seen under the sink. It may be hung up on a pipe or other object. As long as there is nothing broken on the sprayer you should be able to ease it back into place by gently applying a "pulling" pressure on the sprayer hose under the sink.

Very low pressure

To get full pressure you need to pull the wand away from the base. Then remove the wand from the hose becareful not to loose the washer. When the wand is removed look down the wand you will see a plastic part. That plastic part is a flow restrict-er. You need to put a screw in the restrict-er and pull it out. When it is out put wand back on the hose then you will have full water pressure.

Two people can not shower at the same time because

Hello.. The problem you are having is common. there are only two causes. One is that the water pipes in the house are old and partially filled with scale and such. The other, and more common problem is that the house is plumbed entirely with one size of pipe, usually 1/2 inch pipe. Houses that do not have this problem use a larger size pipe to carry the water around the house, say 3/4 inch and then only go down to 1/2 inch when they are about to feed a faucet or a toilet. There is no inexpensive fix to this problem. The only fix is to replumb the main lines in the house with a larger size pipe and then go down to the 1/2 inch size when you are near the faucet or toilet.

Delta Kitchen Single Faucet 470 suddenly would not give water

Debris in the valve is a fairly common cause for stopping water flow in single lever valves. You can first check the aereator and remove any debris that may be there at the faucet itself. Then you can try to remove the ball at the control lever. You have to be careful and make sure that you do not drop any parts. Especially if this is a recent installation, you may find a large piece of something there.

Replace the seal on the 470 DST single handle pull out faucet

Turn the water off at the faucet, remove the handle and the retaining nut that is apart of the trim. You will see where you can use a wrench to remove it. The ball assembly will come right out and you can replace the washers right below it. Put it back together and if needed, tighten the tension ring that is on the retaining nut (usually grey or white in color) so it won't leak water around the ball stem. Good luck.

How to remove stuck cap for delta single handle faucet

Take a rag and put over nut then tap all-around nut. Then use your hand to try and unscrew. A strap wrench is the best tool for taking these off. I have been to so many of these where the homeowners have used channel locks or pipe wrenches and scarred up nut or broken off copper tubes. They seem amazed when i tap it a few times and remove it with my hands. Channel locks and pipe wrenches actually cause the nut to bind when using this much force. Make sure you loosen the plastic retainer on top of the nut first. For more details about single faucet repair
