Not cleaning dishes
If there is not enough water, the dishes would not get cleaned. This could be caused by a partially closed water shut-off valve (located under the sink), or a faulty dishwasher water valve (located at the bottom of the dishwasher, behind the kick panel, on either side).
Also, There is usually two, sometimes three spray arms in a dishwasher. Make sure there is no debris blocking the holes inside each spray arm.
**Water temperature Note***
To get the best results, the water has to be at 120 degrees Fahrenheit when entering the dishwasher.
Concerning the Film.(Disregard if this is not an issue)
This problem occurs due to excessive calcium build up inside the dishwasher. Try cleaning you dishwasher using a dishwasher cleaner. There are a few out there, Try Dishwasher Magic.
Not washing properly.fills and water circulates
Hi,
There is not enough salt in the dishwasher & that is what causes the sand like residue on dishes. Sometimes even when you use an all in 1 dishwasher tablet this may still not contain enough salt for the hardness of the water in your area. Using salt regular helps keep the dishwasher clean. The problem is hard water going into your dishwasher. it leaves the residue you are talking about. There is a new affordable product called the dishwasher filtration system it filters out the hard minerals that cause this before they enter your dishwasher leaving your dishes spot free with every load. You can get it at www.dishwasherfilter.com.

when you say not condensing I will assume you mean not getting hot enough during rinse cycle to dry dishes with condensation.

Hi,
If its like a bosch tumble dryer i had before there should be a pipe down the back, pull it off at the top and give it a good blow, dont know that this would work, didnt have this problem. But seems logical to think it might be a blockage and you can try this without pulling it apart or calling an engineer. By the way if you have a waste water pipe nearby you can route the pipe into this instead of the collector tray and you will never need to empty it again!!

Water hardness is measured in either European °E (clarks) or in the German °dH
( Deutsche Härte) you will find this on all
Bosch Dishwashers here is the comparisons for the two.

I suggest that you use Calgon Dishwasher ( Sodium Carbonate
formula Na2CO3.)
tablets in the dishwasher every week this is a brand-named water softner that
is essential to be used in areas of hard water which causes calcification and
catastrophic failure. Use both the salt and the Calgon to suit your hardness.
If you live in a soft water area then set code H:01 as the extra is not required and only use Calgon tablets once a week use normal salt or tablet for the other washes.
Hope this helps
Spray arms do not turn. water to them but not
I had the same problem and fixed it by disassembling the lower spray arm and return filter, and cleaning all the junk out.
Most dishwashers have 'risers' that bring the water up to the top
sprayer or arm located under the top rack. If the recirculating pump
is plugged even a little there won't be enough volume or pressure to
get the water up there.
Test this by putting a dry muffin pan in the top rack, flat, and
running the dishwasher for a bit. If there is no water on the top (or
the bottom) either the top sprayer or the sprayer arm underneath the
top rack is not getting enough volume.
To fix this you need to clean out the screen and filter, where the
water returns to be recirculated. If you don't have any confidence to
remove the parts and clean it out yourself, get an appliance repair
person to do the job.
