Hi senechalinte,
It is a inlet problem. Caused when the water level switch does not sense enough water going into the Dishwasher.
Please check the following:
- Is the Inlet pipe kinked at the back? If it is - straighten it. It is always best to test the machine while moved out of a cabinet space (if built under), as sometimes when positioned under a tabletop etc, it can kink the pipes as it is moved backwards.
- Makes sure the filter between the Inlet pipe and machine is cleaned, and water can flow through without obstruction. The filter can be found here:
* In some cases the inlet valve will be built into the Inlet hose (Called a Aquastop hose), these have a filter on the tap side.
Now if these do not solve the problem, then the issue may be more severe.. You could be looking at a Inlet Valve or Aqua-stop Valve, if no water is getting into your machine - viewable from your already open panel, then it is the case... If however water does enter, and it does go through the whole water distributor on the side, then the Water level switch may be acting up.
In that case, there will be one or two switches at the end of that water path on the water distributor. Remove the plugs on each of the micro switches situated there.. clean the contact points with a small cloth and re-fit the plugs. Bosch micro switches suffer from some minor buildup on these contact switches (due to moisture), and this usually solves the problem. If it did not, you can test the micro switches for continuity (with a multimeter) when pushing the buttons in and out. If they fail to change from closed and open, then these need to be replaced.
I hope this has helped you.
Kind Regards
