Bosch Model shx46a05Uc/14 not running
Unlikely to be a level problem. Remove the filter and two screws holding the cover over the wash motor impeller from inside the wash tank - check for something jamming the impeller, like bits of broken glass or fragments of bone, fruit pips etc.
If not that, check basics - water supply, drain hose, filters clear, not syphoning empty, etc.

Smelly dishwasher and slow cycle
The fact your machine gives off an odour and a slow cycle seems to point to a blocked pump, Disconnect the machine from the main power supply, Remove the back and you will find the pump located at the bottom of the machine, Remove the large hose by squeezing together the retaining clip and you should find it is clogged. Clean all filters within the machine and it should clear the odour and help the machine to run better.

Bosch dishwasher shx46a06uc-30
the unit will try to complete the last command it was engage in before it went in the overfill safety mode. you must perform a cancel drain cycle to reset unit to default setting. Remember the drain cycle is 2 min and must be completed to reset main control. however if it went into a overfill status you have a leak and it generally comes from the pressure chamber on the lefthand side of unit where the water enters tub If you need further help, reach me via phone at

Hello,
1 Remove the pump and drive motor. You willfind two plastic and one rubber motor couplings. One is located on the drivemotor and the other is on the gear case with the rubber coupling between them.
2 Pry or break the old couplings off with your screwdriver. Replace with newcouplings. Simply push one onto the shaft of the gear case and press the secondone onto the shaft of the drive motor.
3 Line up the holes of the rubber isolation coupling with the studs in thecoupling. Push the rubber isolation coupling in place.
4 Push the isolation and coupling on the drive motor making sure that theholes line up with the studs on the other coupling on the gear case.
ยท 5 Reinstall the drive motor and then snap the pump in place with the retainersto hold it in place. Reconnect the hoses with the clamps and snap the.Put thewasher back on and screw the back in place. Position the washer where you hadit before and plug the washer in.

We heard our bosch dishwasher just running last
Hi
The issue seems to be with the float switch assembly that is bad and should be replaced. Float assembly is found inside the dishwasher's tub, on the bottom. The water that fills your dishwasher lifts the float, and when it reaches a certain level, it acts as a trigger for the float switch. The float triggers the float switch to shut off, thereby shutting off the flow of water into the dishwasher. A defective switch may interfere with your dishwasher's filling and/or draining ability. Use your voltmeter to test the switch. Set the device to the ohms setting x 1. Take each probe and touch them to one switch terminal each. This should produce a reading of either zero or infinity. Continue to touch the probes to the terminals, and press down on the switch's button. The reading should change to the opposite extreme. If your switch fails either of these tests, you should replace it. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Are you please able to confirm what exactly is happening when you mention "dishwasher just keeps going".
Is it in a wash cycle and throwing the water around through the wash arms or do you just hear a pump running with water sitting in the base. Most likely there is a leak into the base and the auto stop circuit is trying to empty the dishwasher by running the drain pump. I would suggest you check the base of dishwasher for leaks.

Wash cycle stopped with water
Check the wiring in the units junction box. Its located at the bottom right corner. You will likely find melted connectors. If so, you need to cut the wires back and replace these connectors. Make sure you turn the power off before doing any of this work of course.
Good Luck.

Our dishwasher takes about 3-4 hours to run a
make sure that your filter in the bottom is clean and if you are using the automatic wash cycle, it will wash until the water is clean. Sometimes it will take an hour, sometimes it will take close to 2 depending upon the level of dirty dishes in the dishwasher. And don't rinse! They work better on dirty dishes.

How do I turn off the beep?
Hello,
This means that the Dishwasher has detected a
condition it needs to check. Press "Cancel" to clear the display if any and to
stop the beeping sound, then try turning the Dishwasher off and on again.
If you still see the "sound," turn off the power to your Dishwasher and wait five
minutes before turning it on again.
Good luck.

I have a Bosch SHX46A05UC/33 5-cycle dishwasher
Hi,
Some SHX46A washers have 4 cycles and others have 5 cycles.
I'm fairly sure your model has the hidden buttons on the top of the door and you stated you have five-cycle buttons, in which case they will be as follows.
1. Top Rack only cycle or Sanitize
2. Power Scrub Plus
3. Regular Wash
4. Delicate Wash
5. Rinse and Hold.
These buttons are also used for cancelling a wash cycle. Hold down "Power Scrub Plus" and "Delicate" at the same time to cancel a cycle and drain the water out.
If your washer does have 4 buttons, it means you don't have a Top Rack / Sanitize cycle, in which case the button configuration (from left to right) will be:
1. Power Scrub Plus
2. Regular Wash
3. Delicate Wash
4. Rinse and Hold.
I hope this solves your problem. If you need any additional information, please post back.
Regards,
BElectric
