Hello
& Welcome to FixYa
The
hum indicates a problem with the motor if it is coming from the bottom, if it
is coming from the water inlet valve then that needs replacement. Please get
back to me if you have any other questions.

Hi
Check the heating element. Dishwashers are made to work with 130 - 140 degree water. If much lower, the detergent you are using will not dissolve, and this is what is all over the inside of the unit and your dishes.
If the dishes are not clean enough at the end of the drying cycle, the problem can likely be traced to obstructed spray arms or clogged spray arm nozzles. Also make sure that the spray nozzles located directly underneath the lower dish rack are not obstructed by handles, silverware or other objects. Over time, the spray arm nozzles can become clogged with sediment deposits, which inhibit the water from exiting the nozzles and cleaning the dishes. For this reason, the spray arm nozzles should be periodically cleaned. To clean the spray arm nozzles, first access the spray arms by pulling the lower dish rack out of the dishwasher. Twist the upper spray arm in a counterclockwise direction to remove it, then lift the lower spray arm out of the dishwasher. The spray arm nozzles may be cleaned with any detergent/appliance cleaner suitable for dishwashers. Ensure that the dishes are not placed tightly against each other.
