I have Classixx 1000 model How should i use machine's compartment? i have 3 parts in the compartment. Could you help me please 1st 2nd and 3rd drawers are for which materials? i need to know detergent, calgon, softener which draws should i use for them. thank you
usually it is the larger for the main powder the second largest for the prewash powder and the smallest (labelled with a "max line" for the fab conditioner) the calgon can go in with the main wash or be put straight in the drum.

Hello,
I've just done a wash in our Bosch Classixx 1000 (or thought I had). At the end of the wash, the 'End' light was flashing, which it had never done before. When I opened the machine, I saw that it had failed to drain. I tried the 'drain' option, and the machine seemed to be trying, but it failed to drain. I tried the 'spin' option but again nothing happened. I have removed the clothes, and left manually removed most of the water - about 30 mug-fulls.
Can anybody help? Very many thanks.
The Solution: Top up the softener tray with extra water so that it is up to the 'max level' mark.
The softener tray works by a siphon action. Thus, the reason the tray does not empty is that not enough water is added by
the machine during the softening cycle, so that the machine does not
completely fill the softening tray; only when the softening tray is
filled beyond the 'max' mark does the siphon action works. A partially
filled tray will never empty - it's impossible due to the siphon.
The reason that not enough water is added to the tray during the
softening action is that the water inlet of the machine is partial
blocked (you can try to fix that) but it is simpler to just added more
water to the conditioner tray.
Thus, the easiest way to ensure that the softener tray empties every
time (after adding the softener to the softener tray of course) is to
top up the softener tray with extra water, top it up to the 'max level'
line (keep a bottle of water by the machine). That way, even if only a
little water is added to the softener tray during the softening cycle
by the machine it is enough to trigger the siphon action and the tray
will empty!
Works for me every time, and no need to remove any parts - I used to
take the tray out, clean it, scrub the outlet holes that fill the tray
etc, but they used to gum up again quite quickly!
Hope that helps

Stop beeping at end of wash on bosh machine
When the machine is on, but not running, press and hold the "pre-wash" button. After a few seconds it will begin that beep noise, keep holding it in until the beep volume goes down and finally stops. Once the beep has stopped, release the button and voila, no more annoying beeps at the end of your cycle.
To restore the end of cycle notification (beep) do the same thing as described above, but release the button earlier while the beep is still going.

Classixx 6 1200 bosch washer...I've set the washer to a programme regularly used but an indicator light 'a Key' symbol flashes above the time indicator and the programme will not start . Door is closed properly and there are no socks etc caught in the drain at the front. what can I do to get the machine going Same problem with mine - key symbol appears when I try any type of cycle and keeps beeping. Cycle won't start. Tried unplugging but still happening. Any ideas?
You've put the child lock on! When powered key press the on/off button for 5 seconds. This will remove the key!

Bosch classixx 1400 express washing machine
when it finishes the programme it beeps and beeps and beeps
the manual has a diagram of how to turn the volume down but after many tries doesn't work, help to save my sanity
When the machine is on, but not running, press and hold the "pre-wash" button. After a few seconds it will begin that beep noise, keep holding it in until the beep volume goes down and finally stops completely (5-10 secs). Once the beep has stopped, release the button and voila, no more annoying beeps at the end of your cycle.
To restore the end of cycle notification (beep) do the same thing as described above, but release the button earlier while the beep is still going.

Bosch classic 6 1400 express washing machine - key lock symbol illuminated on panel when machine turned on so machine will not start.
No instruction manual so wondering how to turn the lock off?
Many thanks
This is symbol shows that the child lock has been activated. This can only be turned on/off at the beginning or end of washing programme. To activate/de-activate this, just press and hold the Start/Pause button in for 5 seconds. The time settings will then re-appear and then you can proceed as normal

Bosch Maxx Classic wont drain cannot open drain cap seems jared is there a correct way
The correct procedure for removing the filter is to unscrew it anti clockwise, and pull it out.
If it does not come out, then it is possible that there is something stuck in the filter, or the filter seal has swollen
As you unscrew it, try moving it from side to side at the same as you are pulling on it, then screw it back in again, and try the same procedure.
Hope this helps.

I think that the on off switch is not working properly on mine as it takes ages to switch it on (Have to keep pressing it). Where can I get a new switch from (I am in New Zealand but do not mind the shipping from somewhere as they should be only light)?
