This is the childproof lock symbol and prevents you from changing a program once it has been selected The symbol flashes if the program is changed during a wash cycle. If the machine is switched off mid cycle with the lock on then it will continue the program as so as the machine is switched back on. To activate the lock press the START button and hold for 4 seconds and the key is displayed. To deactivate the lock press the START button and hold for 4 seconds until the key symbol disappears.
Make sure it has power and if it does, is the door locking. If so does the time show and count down. If it does could be a belt. If it has power but control not functioning it could be a power board. Main thing to check is if the door is locking.
Potential causes and fixes:
Battery Terminal Corrosion:
Cause: If your Bosch laser receiver has been submerged in water, the battery contacts and sometimes the circuit board may have corroded.
Fix:
Remove the batteries and clean the battery terminal contacts.
Pry open the bottom cover and clean any corrosion on the circuit board.
Calibration Issues (for Bosch GLL 2-20):
Cause: Dropping the Bosch GLL 2-20 can lead to misalignment and errors.
Fix:
The best way to address this problem is to calibrate the laser level.
You can either contact the Bosch service center or follow the calibration instructions in the manual.
General steps for calibrating a laser level with a misaligned pendulum:
Remove the screws and outer cover.
Locate the pendulum hanging in its stationary position.
Remove the glass window of the laser level.
Adjust the stationary position of the hanging pendulum using the main adjustment screw.
Fine-tune right-left adjustments using other smaller adjustment screws.
Reassemble the laser level.
Cracked Glass Lens (for Bosch GLL 2-50):
Cause: If the horizontal glass lens is cracked, it affects accuracy and safety.
Fix:
Unfortunately, this problem is often unrepairable.
It's advisable to replace the laser level to ensure safe operation1.
Remember to lock your laser level when not in use or during transportation to prevent pendulum movement1. If these steps don't resolve the issue, consider reaching out to Bosch for professional assistance or repair

That is the main bearing worn with so much play that a heavy load will stop it going around and normal wash will grind from time to time.
Bosch use very well made bearing so you might get more out of it before the bearing crashes completely.
Motor brushes: The motor brushes may be worn out and need to be replaced. This is a common issue with the Bosch WFK2401UC washer motor 2 . You can check the brushes by removing the back panel of the washer and looking at the motor. If the brushes are less than 1/4 inch long, they need to be replaced 2 . Imbalance: If the load is unbalanced, the washer may not spin at full speed to protect itself. This can cause the cycle time to be cut short 6 . Try rearranging the load and see if that helps. Sensor issue: If the washer is not detecting an imbalance but still not spinning at full speed, there may be an issue with the sensor. This could be causing the washer to cut the cycle short 6 . You may need to call a professional to diagnose and fix the issue.
