Processor went "bang" and stopped operating.
Check after opening if the motor has paccked up. Check the drive if it has jammed, check if the motor bushes are bad, the brushes are worn out.
Trace power line from plugg to switch and to the motor.
If there is atrip switch in between this see if this has reset.

No instructions on how to start my braun multipractic plus blende
There is a clear L shaped tab that is "in the lid" that you slides or rather you rotates into and threw a crevice slot that alows the top switch to turn on or "even move" for that matter. This seems to be a rather clever safety switch that is down right frustrating when your excited about using this machine, while thinking that we just switch it on like our lights...Safe machine...."will not work" period without the lid and bowl softly connected to the right arrow or line up markers.

Machine started smoking and stopped working
Well I would most likely say the unit is cooked. Smoking is;ent good for them don't ya know.Why don't you ck. out the Thrift shops like the Salvation Army Store or other good will shops. I bet you will find a nice one there CHEEP. And have fun looking . I see nice ones there all the time. DFD please rate me. TK U

Sleeve on Braun 4621 Food Processor is loose. Rotates on metal post. Does not spin when contents are added to bowl.
