How do i adjust clutch cover?

Question makes no sense. To remove or attach the clutch cover, the chain brake must be released. Period. Failing that, you're going to wrestle, and lose, with the brake band. For whatever other bits you want to muck with, download an IPL (illustrated parts list) and see how the bits interrelate.

Husqvarna 455 rancher new filters /plug get spark wont start put gas in cylinder and wont start what am i missing

Check to see if there is a leak in the air purge bulb (primer bulb), sometimes they crack and allow air in and don't push the gas through properly. Here is the manual for your saw. Cheers! http://www.manualslib.com/manual/514275/Husqvarna-455e-Rancher.html#manual

How do I obtain an owners Manual for Huskylock 431. Any ideas where I can get one?

Are you kidding? Seriously. A Google search would instantly yield the likes of a .pdf manual on a Husqy site- http://www.husqvarna.com/ddoc/huso/huso2004_usen/huso2004_usen__1140247-95.pdf. Assuming that's the desired saw version. Shop manuals, IPLs ditto. I'd attach the files here, but no can do. Then save as a local file and use it digitally or print it. Bada bing ...

If it has been sitting a while then the gas lines may have gotten brittle and broken inside the gas tank. Look in there with a flashlight. Dipping the spark plug in fuel wouldn't nessesarily work.

What is the longest bar i can go on my 455 rancher

Available power and the amount of oil may both be a limiting factors. Your oiler has a 3 position adjustment (as do most intermediate level Huskies) with 20" being the longest recommended. My 359 is virtually the same and I run a 24" Carlton bar on mine with no problem. If you opt for a longer bar let the saw determine cutting speed. Come on over, my bar and chain will fit your saw, try it before you buy it. If you have an acquaintance with a 24" small mount Husky bar that is probably a good idea. I would likely not recommend a 24" bar if regularly cutting Oak or a hard wood, I do a lot of Fir.

If you have more questions or need additional help please reply below and I will get back to you. HTH & Good Luck.

Will not feed oil to the chain bar

Sometimes the oil passages in the bar get pluged up and block the oil. Take the bar off the saw and clean out all the holes.

Husqvarna 235 is leaking bar oil really bad

Hi, What Kind of oil do You use? A thiker one could be a solution. Usualy there a other screw (than those H and L of the carburator) to adjuste the amount of oil spend on your blade.

Rancher 455 starts and runs for a minute then

Hi DavidSounds like you have dirt/debris in your carburetor jets, fuel passages or a diaphragm that is becoming non-flexible. Check/Clean/Replace your Air Filter, a dirty air filter can make your engine run to rich with fuel. Also be sure to check and clean your spark arrestor in the exaust,if you have one installed on your engine.Note: ALWAYS USE COMPRESSED AIR TO CLEAN YOUR JETS AND PASSAGES, VERY IMPORTANT.Note:Before you disassemble the carburetor:Write down on a piece of paper or take a picture of how the linkage attaches to your carburetor for later reference when you go to reinstall your carburetor.Mark each piece with a awl, or some kind of instrument that will make an alignment scratch before you disassemble the carburetor into separate pieces. That way you will know which way it goes back together when you reassemble it.Sometimes you can get by with priming the carburetor or by using a very small shot of starting fluid and letting it run a few times like that, and it will flush the gunk out of the jets, but most of the time you will need to rebuild the carburetor.Be sure to check your fuel tank for water and dirt/debris, if there is water/debris then you need to clean your tank.Check you fuel line condition after a while they will degrade and need replacement.Check/Clean/Replace your fuel filter if you have one, normally they are located in the fuel tank of chainsaws and weedeaters. When you remove your fuel lines from the carburetor be sure to make a drawing to how the lines are connected to the carburetor or take a picture for later reference.Normally the big line will be the line the fuel filter is connected to inside of the tank. The smaller of the two lines is the return to the fuel tank from the carburetor after it is pumped thru the carburetor by the primer bulb.Make sure you are using fresh fuel...and oil if your using a two cycle chainsaw or weedeater with the oil to the right mixture...too much oil as it can cause hard starting and excessive smoking. If the chainsaw/trimmer is over a couple of years old, then I recommend that you buy and install a new carburetor repair kit, because the diaphragm will get hard and that will cause it to be hard to crank. The diaphragm may look good and flexible, but it can be deceiving and not act as a fuel pump as it should because it has become too hard and will cause hard starting, start and run and shut off, etc. When you clean your carburetor, I recommend that you use a lacquer thinner type cleaner to clean and dissolve the lacquer build-up in the float and needle jet passages.Be sure to remove all plastic and rubber parts before using the lacquer thinner because it can dissolve the plastic parts and render them unusable.Be sure to use COMPRESSED AIR to blow out all the fuel and air passages. The higher air pressure is needed to blow some of the trash/debris from the fuel or air passages.Be careful when blowing out the passages, because there are sometimes small rubber type seats in the bottom of some of the passages.Keep in mind that the float (if you have one) for the carburetor must be level when you go to reassemble the carburetor or follow the instructions you get with the carburetor kit, or you could also ask the parts man that you get your kit from. When you clean your carburetor and remove the jet screws, you will first need to lightly seat the jet screws. But before you lightly seat the jet screws count the number of turns it takes to seat the jet screws from their original position.Be sure to mark the turns down on a piece of paper. That way when you put the jets back in, you know to lightly seat them first and then turn them back out to their original position before you started.Note:The little spring inside of the carburetor goes under the float arm. That is where your fuel inlet needle/float valve is located...on the arm at the end.Normally there is a small indention in the carburetor base and a small protrusion on the underneath of the float arm where the spring will be in the right position for installation. The spring will set in the indention and you will install the float arm with the needle/float valve and float rod into position over top of the spring, you will push down until it is in position and then you can tighten the screw that holds the float arm assembly in position.Once you have your carburetor cleaned/rebuilt that should solve your problem.Bud

Model#790.31039802 The oven door is locked, it is noot on, however, I cannot get it to unlock. How do I unlock the oven door?

Have you tried unplugging it from the electrical outlet? Then check if it is unlocked. If that doesn't work, you will need to provide Make and Model number of the oven for specific instructions. You may have a failed control board.

Trying to find the correct compression for a Husqvarna 455 Rancher chainsaw?

you wont... as per husky anything under 110 would be suspicious. I have seen those saws with the lower piston ring gummed up from a rich fuel mixture.

Where does the linkage from the trigger to the

there will be a spring and a flat plate that has multiple holes in it, the trigger cable will hook into one of these holes. the easiest way to locate this is to look into the carb, and pull in the levers, when the fly inside the opening moves this is the one, but be careful there will be two and one is for the choke. the choke will have 2 to 3 position and will make kind of a click each time. you want the one that does not make a click or is the largest one.
