1. sounds like the control board. i cannot confirm this as i am not able to come sit in front of your furnace. please have a tech come to sit in front of your furnace and figure it out!!

The "mother board" or integrated control module is essentially the brain that controls the sequence of operation in your gas fired furnace. It is located, generally, in the blower compartment. That is the bottom of the two compartments of the in the furnace. It looks like a circuit board with all the wires of the furnace leading to it.

filter may not be in correctly. if it is gas, check the pilot, if it doesn't have a pilot, it may be the ignitor. depending on how new your furnace is, it may have a safety feature that won't let it start for some reason. seeing that it will at least start the cycle is a good sign. it may be the filter not placed right. i'm not a furnace expert, just know my experiences. you may want to look at the limit switches as well, they only require a tester to see if they are good. if you own the testers, you probably know what you're looking for.

Check the pressure switch and the little hoses going to the pressure switch. If the pressure switch does not get a vacum from the blower it will not let the furnace light.

There is a switch, activated when you open the service panel, that kills most power to the unit, including the DI Blower motor. Your furnace should also be equipped with an exterior kill switch, or there's always the good old breaker box. Good Luck!

If the light flashes red 7 times, the furnace is not sensing flame. Check for a flame sensing rod (small steel rod in the path of the main burner flame). If you can see it, shut off the furnace, and clean the rod with a rag soaked in vinegar. Turn the furnace back on and see if this cures yyour fault. Make sure you turn the power off to the furnace and then back on as this will reset the circuit board.

Is your filter plugged? If so, change it out. is the bottom door on the furnace? Is the draft motor running at normal speed?

Have your gas supplier verify delivery pressure. Too high or low, the valve will lock up. Should be a free service.

The furnace is not sensing the flame. Turn off the power.
There is a metal rod in front of the last burner to light. It is corroded and needs to be cleaned. Its the flame sensor .
take the 1 screw out holding it in to the bar and scrub it with some steel wool till shiny. replace and turn on furnace. all should be fine.

OK so you replaced the Thermostat huh? OK well then did you also replace the Thermistor Temperature Sensor? or whatever is used? As often it's BOTH, also check the wiring from the sensor to the host, in any event if it's NOT that then all it can be is the controller board, most likely the Micro? Check any and all sensors first though.. try to get a service manual too, it's hard without one?

There should be a gasket between the mounting flange of the inducer motor and the furnace. If you do not have that you can use a small bead of blue or red silicone caulking to seal it. Hope this helps you. Thanks

replace the fuel nozzel.....if its plugged or restricted it will do this....change fuel filters as well

I normally would not say this after running my own plbg. htg and a.c. shop for 25 years I always tried to give the competitors the benifit of the doubt. However in this instance I think you need to find a different company cause it sounds like they are ripping you off.Theses motors and squuirrel cage blower usually run about 75-80 dollars and maybe two to three hours on the long side to install.If you are mechanically inclined you can do it yourself. Sorry I'm no more help. Good luck and thank you.
