WHO MANUFACTURES THE ENGINE FOR

There have been several factories in china that have made the motors used on buffalo generators, a couple of these are Lifan and J.D. as in Jiangdong. All of these motors are very similar to honda motors. The 6.5,13,and 15 h.p. motors are real brutes and hold up very well.

Replace the pull rope

That is the fun part! You have to leave the handle end free, as in no handle on it, put a good knot in one end of your new pull cord, feed it through the hole in the pulley, feeding it out so you can pull it back into the space where the pulley is. Should be a slot on the pulley to bring it up in. Wind pulley against spring, same direction as normally pulled when starting, will need three to six rounds, can't tell how many cause it varies. Stick cord out hole to where handle should be while keeping tension on spring so you don't lose it. Tie handle on and try it. You may have to adjust rounds against spring and length of cord until you get it right. Good luck!

Armature winding started coming appart..replacement

I'm not familiar with this particular generator however I would suggest trying to find a local repairer to get the armature rewound, which may well work out cheaper than buying a new part anyway.
Try searching Google Maps http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&tab=wl In the search box type in 'armature rewind' and your location

It cant get gas and the off and on switch is

First of all replace the on switch. The fuel tank is located on top so this unit is gravity fed. Check the inline filter for being plugged( if it has one). check the fuel line for kinks and blockages. Also check to make sure it has good fuel before starting.

A coleman generator 6875 won't start please give

Dump ALL old fuel out of tank, you might have got a clog in the fuel line, carburator, fuel valve. Remove carb bottom Sediment bowl then spray Carb cleaner thru the gas inlet AT the carb 3-4 secs CAUTION: KEEP YOUR HEAD BACK.. that cleaner hurts if you get it in your eyes... and NEVER SPRAY A HOT ENGINE (np with yours tho no start) Refill tank with NEW fuel (or strained at least if emergency remote repair) Place a suitable catch container over gas inlet line to carb (at carb) open fuel valve chk for fuel FLOWING (no dripping) into container. replace fuel line to carb start as normal
if not firing still chk that spark plug, might need cleaning now that rest is ok.

USED IT FOR APPROX 3

try these: With air filter off see if the carb is loose at all. if it is then it is sucking air. tighten it and it shoild be fine. If it is tight there should be a screw at the bottom of the float bowl. open it and let about a half cup of fuel drain. Try it again. If it is ok then you had water in the fuel. If it still runs rough there are at least one screw on the carbs body (not the idle adjust) turn it all yhe way in and then back it out 1 1/2 turns. Try adjusting the roughness by turning the screw with the engine running. If still no joy then see if there is an in line filter change it. It may be clogged. Also try loosening the fuel tank cap. It may be causing a vacuume that is not letting enough fuel get to the carb. If these fail then remove the carb and kit it. Blow out all passeges with some carb cleaner. Then blow it dry with compressed air prior to reassembly. If this answer satisfies your question rate my answer button. If it does not, please tell me so. have the voltage regulator system checked in the regulator the voltage controls the amperage allowed and it that unit is not working properly then there will be no current out put that regulator could be part of the control board for the main ac out put and may have developed a fault in the section for 12 volts on the board there is a limit on the charge rate for the battery and if it is exceed it may have damaged that circuit or possible blown a fuse in the amperage circuit
