How do I remove the filter basket from Cuisinart Programmable coffeemaker CBC-5200PC Series?

I have this coffee maker and the basket comes out with the grinding cup and assembly. It's all one piece and pulls straight up. You may need to pull a bit harder.

The grinder motor does not turn on when i start

Make sure you have the dial that sits on top of the filter basket turned to the open hole. Otherwise, it will not grind as it can not send the coffee grounds into the basket.

Need replacement lid for Cuisinart DBG300

I believe your model is actually the DGB300. Available replacement parts can be ordered online from Cuisinart at:http://www.cuisinart.com/discontinued/coffee_bar/dgb-300.html Unfortunately it may be necessary to order the complete carafe. You may wish to try contacting Cuisinart using their web inquiry form to see if they are able to provide the lid as a separate part:https://www.cuisinart.com/support/international.html

The grinder on my dgb300

Hello

Open the water reservoir of your Cuisinart coffeemaker and fill it with water using the coffeemaker's carafe. If you forget to add water to the coffeemaker, the brewing cycle will not start.

Turn off the auto start feature on your Cuisinart coffeemaker if the brewing cycle does not begin when desired. If the coffeemaker is programmed to brew at a specific time, the light near the "Program" button will be lit. Press the "On" button to override the programming and begin brewing immediately.

Program the automatic brew start time by pressing the program button on the control pane. Set the brew start time with the hour and minute button and allow the program mode to reset to normal time after a few seconds.

The motor on my Cuisinart DGB-300 Coffee Maker

HI,

First, do a motor test by removing the work bowl completely and using a pen to press in the grey button on top of the base (with the food processor turned on of course), toward the back. If the processor spins, the motor is still good. At that point, I would inspect the work bowl pieces, lid, pusher assembly, etc for cracks/damage. If all appears well, insert ALL the pieces back into place and try again. If even one piece is out of place, the processor will not spin.

If it no longer spins, the motor has a problem. You need to replace it.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!
