are you sure battery was charged ? if so , then battery contacts or circuit board may be broken.. but its probably a spark unit( little black box in handle of tool) that has gone bad. fairly easy to replace , but little expensive (60-80 dollars)

if your fan motor is ok, which it probably is, it has got to be the spark unit . the spark unit is the brains of the operation. the little black box located in the handle of the tool( the spark unit ) can cause fan to run slow or not at all. its a bit expensive( probably 60-80 dollars) but not that hard to change out. if its the original be careful pulling it out its glued in from the factory.

fan motor could have gone bad, spark unit(little black box in handle) could be bad. one of the three top conections could be loose, or hooked up wrong, battery contacts on end of circuit board assembly could be placed a little off( battery not making contact with circuit mold assembly) pinched one of the wires going to the trigger area, or fan area

It needs to be cleaned and oiled. You can buy an electrical cleaner spray and oil specific for paslodes at Home Depot. You will have to take the back off (where the filter is) and clean it with the cleaning spray then oil it well. Put it back together and it will work like new again. You will be surprised how much difference it will make. Good luck

Unless you have the wrong nails or a problem with the feeder and/or feeder spring it is probably dirty and the driver is hanging up on the cylinder. These tools need to be cleaned and lubed after using them for some time. If you look on Paslode's website there is a manual that explains how to do it. There are also videos on YouTube that show this. It is somewhat complicated and the tool has to be disassembled quite a bit. If you don't feel comfortable doing this work then you may want to want a servicing dealer that repairs these tools. hi what pin, is it the black pins on either side of the red gas feed if it is u can replace these it will take about 10 mins and that should sort the problem out for u

the saftey switch that is triggered when u pick it up maybe a little sticky or if the switch is through wires then it could be the connection

Wow these nailers have lots of problems. Try readjusting air pressure up or down. Look for a nail jammed in the end. Use good quality nails.

These units seem to have problems. Use at least 90psi air. Check for nail jammed in the end. Use good quality nails & proper amt. of oil.

If this is a paslode as it says in the header, you can try going to paslode.com and downloading one. If not I would need the brand and model number to help. If you have a problem still finding one let me know and I will try another source.

When it stops firing is the little light on the side of the handle green or red? If it is red then the battery is draining down too quickly. Either the fan switch has malfunctioned causing the fan to run all the time (I have seen this before) or you got either a faulty battery or charger.

check the fuel cell first, there is an expiration date on the bottom and out of date fuel can cause a problem. As far as repair it depends on where you are located. You can try going to somebody like Lowes or Home Depot and asking them or look in your phone book under tools repair for a local service repair center that might be able to fix. If you are around Ohio I can help you with the problem.

are the fan blades bent causing a vibration. you can run the fan with the cylinder off to try and isolate the noise. Let me know

no they don't, where do you get the spark from?? you can test this tool with the cylinder off by depressing the roller lever and holding the switch in the on position. If there is fire across the gap it should work and then I would look to make sure the safety is fully depressing. If this is the one with o rings you might want to check them for wear. Also look at the expiration date on the fuel cell, it is on the bottom and if expired could cause a problem.
