DeLonghi DE400 Dehumidifier - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Our delonghi de400p dehumidifier shows an E3 error
I have a 40 pint and a 50 pint that are very similar. The 40 pint has the e3 error. Experimenting with the 50 pint, I found if I disconnected a particular sensor I got the e3 error. That sensor is a little can with two black wires (smaller than a AAA battery but shaped like that). It is attached to the cooling coils so must be a temperature sensor. This is not the little circuit board sensor mounted in the middle of the radiator in a plastic box/clip thing.I am now about to see that part to see if I can replace it.
How do u fix errror code E3 delonghi de400
Hi,
That code indicates a sensor failure and that part to fix it will cost around $200.00
You can darn near buy a new one for that... til you get it and take the time to install it...

Leaking on the floor
This can be caused by two things: The bucket is not inserted properly or the drain hole or tube inside the unit is clogged and needs to be unclogged.
When removing and reinstalling the bucket, make sure that it fits into the bucket holder "squarely" from top to bottom. When installed properly, the bottom of the bucket should not tilt downward at all.
To unclogged the drain hole or tube: Turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to OFF and unplug the unit.
Using an 18" long plastic Zip Tie or something similar (NO wire coat hangers, though) that is appropriately sized to fit into the drain hole or tube. Carefully insert the Zip Tie and work it in slowly. You will reach a bend in the tubing and you will gingerly, have to work it past this bend. When the Zip Tie either bottoms out or you run out of usable Zip Tie, slowly remove it while rotating (twisting) the Zip Tie. This will dislodge any clogs. Once you near the inserted end of the Zip Tie, be prepared for some water to follow.
Hope this helped you to troubleshoot and solve the problem. Please let me know. Thanks.
The e3 is displayed and
The E3 Code, indicates that the air intake filter needs to be removed and cleaned. Be sure the unit is OFF and unplugged before removing the filter. Filter cleaning should be performed at least once every two weeks, as part of Routine Maintenance.
Hope this helped you.
My dehumidifier keeps beeping??????
The water tank is either full or not positioned correctly. Empty the tank and/or make sure it is positioned correctly (should fit perfectly and not bump out from rest of unit).
If you have it connected to the drain directly, your tank may still be filling up unless you have the PUMP button pressed (and PUMP is showing in the LED screen).
Good luck and please rate me.

Leak
Mine did this last year. I took the housing off of the left side and found a clear plastic tube had popped off the fitting, I put it back on and it worked fine. The tube was toward the lower front of the unit.
My dehumidier keeps beeping
Check the filter and make sure that the water level is correct. If all is correct then replace the water level sensor

My delonghi dem 10 dehumidifier is working and collecting water but but the pause is continuously flashing why is this
The flashing pause light on your DeLonghi dehumidifier indicates that the unit is in a defrost cycle. During this time, the compressor shuts off and the fan continues to run in order to thaw any ice that may have formed on the coils. This process typically lasts for 10-15 minutes before the unit resumes normal operation.
If the pause light continues to flash even after the defrost cycle is complete, it may indicate a problem with the unit's sensor or control board. In this case, it is recommended to consult the user manual or contact a professional for assistance with troubleshooting and repairs.
