I would need to know the brand of the keyless entry and model of the key fob it uses to see if they are even able to be used together.

B. (more barbaric aproach) Take a nice sharp chisel and a 5lb. hammer and hit the lug nut on the top unitl it cracks in two. DO NOT damage the threads on the stud with the chisel. Then put a regular one on. These keys are not effective at keeping anyone from getting your wheels off but you anyway.

Fob needs to be reprogramed after replacing battery. Not familiar with the programing on this vehicle, may have to be done at dealership with a scan tool, if you have the manual look in there and it should tell you. Feedback is appreciated, the only way we know if something helps is if we get feedback.

Unlikely. They have a valet overide switch under the dashboard on the driver side. This is indicated by the red light being solid on the dash. There are 2 ways to take it out of this mode, 1 is to push the button done to deactivate and resdet it to alarm mode (red blinking light) or by the battery being cut off. It robably just glitched. It happens. Your son in a law should calm down, things like this happen.

I suspect this being an aftermarket system.Look under the dash area for a button or, a toggle switch. When you locate it, turn on the ignition key, press and hold in the button (little spring loaded micro button, red or black possibly) until the alarm chirps 1 time. This should over ride the system, and only the keyless entry part,if installed, would still be operating.The LED (light emiting diode) light in the dash should also go on solid.

TOYOTA codes are virtually impossible to obtain for free from anywhere on the Internet as access is required to the original factory database.

A few of the older ones are hardwired codes and the only place I know  who may be able to help is here

Cut off switch. Easy to install. Buy at any electronics or auto shop/store.Install it in a way that only you will know where iti is so you can arm the system when needed.

Remotes are usually only dealer-programmable. Take it to the dealer and expect to pay about $50 to have them do it.

does the car have an auto start, if so this could be the problem, like a possible malfunction. And yes it would be a security problem. With auto starts there is a small switch installed so you can turn it off, or reset it. Maybe try and find the switch and turn it off. If the problem stops and you can drive it i would look at replacing or repairing the auto start

It will not burn it up take the two wires from the siren and tape 2 wires of that and run them to your 2 horn wires and tape into the horn. Thats what i did and i havent had a problem since.

Try leaving the breather open, then pump the pedal until you are sure pure fluid only is coming thru i.e no air bubbles, then tighten the breather. Then check operation. The clutch should have its own fluid container.
