How to change back innertube on 26" mongoose estes bike
First turn the adjuster on the rear brake handle all the way in and make sure the slots on the adjuster and set nut are lined up, pull the brake cable out and leave it attached to the lever to open the rear brake pads, loosen the bolts on the tire and pull the derailer up to remove the tire, remove the dustcap from tube and using a flat tool (Wal-Mart has tire tools for $1) take one side of the tire bead out of the rim, pull the old tube out, place the stem of the new tube in the hole and put the cap on, tuck the new tube in the tire trying to keep it flat as possible, push the bead of the tire back into the rim. before inflating the tire, put it back on the frame while pulling the derailer up to get the chain back on the cogs( they will adjust later) tighten the bolts and inflate the tire to desired pressure (between 35-60 psi)

Serial number alone doesn't provide enough inform to identify a bke. You need manufacturer, location of the number and tire size to properly idientify an bike.

Mongoose is the run of the mill brand on the utilitarian side. They are a perfect step for a kid or an adult getting into biking. How to locate master link
The master link has an elongated clip on one side of the link. You have to look carefully at every link until you find it. The clip will only be on one side of the chain, so you may have to look at both sides. Put a dot of white paint on one side of the chain so you know when you have looked at the entire length of chain before looking on the other side. If you're lucky, you should find it rather quickly.

Replace brake pads
tools needed adjustable wrench, 10mm wrench or 6mm allen wrench. Loosen the fastener on the back of the brake pad. remove it then replace with a new one. Making sure that as you tighten the fastener back you are holding the working surface of the brake pad on the side of the wheel. Pay close attention that the brake pad doesn't touch the tire when the lever is pulled.

change the shifter to the smallest gear, pedal while you shift. Once you get it there check the tightness of the cable that is going to it. If it is loose get a 9 mm combination wrench, loosen the clamp located on the front derailleur at the end of the cable. Pull the cable through the clamp and make the cable tight then tighten down the clamp with your wrench. This should make it go up to the biggest gear now. If it doesn't play with the screws, they are travel limiters.
