Look for a fragment of paper or other foreign object in the paper path. Often feeding a sheet of thin card back through the paper path will push any offending object out. May include insects, paper clips, leaves, rubber bands (the worst), pens and pencils, and of course torn or scrunched paper.

Install the EX Navigator software and make sure the scanner shows up in your scanners and camera devices. You should then be able to scan from the computer. If you are trying to scan over a network, try connecting directly with a USB cable. Scanning wireless is almost always a nogo.

You can't. U052 means a dead printhead so the machine has determined that your printhead is not useable. This probably means the printhead has over heated or delaminated.

You cannot use a fax wirelessly. The machine must be physically connect to a phone/fax line in order to send and receive faxes. If the machince is connect to a jackpoint on an ADSL broadband system, you MUST fit a line filter between the machine and the jackpoint.

Fixing the Canon E07 Error Message

probably a faulty transformer inside. If you remove the transformer you should find a model number. If this is replaced, you should be OK. Google the power unit model number to find which other printer models use the same. Then go looking for one with a trashed printhead or similar faultn going cheap.

Have you tried opening and closing the cover multiple times to clear the code? Have you tried unplugging the printer for 5 minutes to clear the fault?

Check your IP addressess. Apparently Mac machines change their Mac addresses whenever they find a new network, but may not remember the previous settings.

A standard usb cable for a printer is a USB A to B. One end is rectangular and the other end looks more like a square with 2 corners cut off.

I can find zero info on this, so I suggest you go to the Canon product support site and email their support staff about this issue.
