Columbia All Sport Digital watch - Answered Questions & Fixed issues

I called Columbia they gave me a number that said they had no idea. I downloaded the manual I couldn't find it anywhere in the manual either.. if anyone knows I'd be happy to hear it

cl 5017 is not a battery code or size, try bring your actual battery or your watch on watch service centers. they probably have your battery.

how to set time on CL-5069 sports watch

Buy a set of precision srewdrivers. Remove back(4 screws),take your 1 mm flat screwdriver and push straight down at the end of the hold down strap at the inside end. KEEP IT TIGHT IN THE NYLON CATCH! The hold down is hooked on the bottom of it. It will release and you will be able to lift that end and replace the battery. Then just push it back to hook it,VOILA! R.J.S.

Take your watch to your nearest watch shop and ask them to do it for you.

You can get into difficulty replacing batteries and it is not worth the risk for
the small cost saving in doing it yourself.

mcdevito75 here, I took a fast search and came up with, www.Columbia.com Customer service # 800-622-6953 6A---6P Mon--Fri. Est. time. Hope this helps. Or you can visit a small watch repair shop in your area for a replacement Band / strap.

Hold the light button (top left hand) for a few seconds and the adjustment mode becomes available.

Hold down the set button, then press the mode button to get to the time menu. Continue to press the mode button to scroll through your time options. Use the buttons on the right side to make changes to the date, time ect.
Your watch is ready to roll.

mcdevito75 here, Have you replaced this insulator, if not or can"t see a small watch repair shop in your area.

mcdevito75 here, You should be able to find a Watch repair shop in any Large city in India., You can also check online at Watch Repair, although with this you may have to send the watch out of India for repair.

Dont do it yourself.. it might break if u apply too much pressure. GO to your nearest watch center and ask them to replace the battery for you.. Its better to spend a little money than to buy a new watch!

If there is nobody who canhelp you directly, try having your instructions scanned into a computer and printed out at a larger size to make them visible!

You need either a caseback knife or caseback wrench depending on whether it's a screwdown or snap-on back. If it's a snap-on, you'll also need a caseback presser to put it back on. Using the wrong tools can easily cause damage to your watch. If the watch is "water-resistant" be sure to replace the gasket as well or it will leak - you cannot reuse the gasket. You best bet to do this without having to buy tools, find the correct battery and gasket and risking scratching the watch is to let a watch shop or jeweler do it. Most places will charge about $8 to replace the battery and gasket. Sears sometimes charges only $4 so either way it's worth it. Even though I have the tools myself I usually bring my watches in and have it done since I'd have to go out and buy the battery & gasket anyway.
