How do i update binatone F350 sat nav for free
It seems that Binatone and Tele Atlas, who provide the software/mapping, have dropped all support for this (if it ever existed). I'm now looking to see if you can change the firmware/os
I have problem with my Binatone Carrera x350SB
Here's a url the site for your device:-http://binatone.com.au/gps/products-x350sb.phpClick on the support tab at the top, you should see options for downloads for updates, upgrades and instructions. In your place I'd first make sure the device is fully charged, turn on then (pictured in the instructions) press and hold in the reset button for a slow count of 15, release and let it go through the reset procedure. After this, its a case of updating the firmware and/or contacting the support staff.
How do i upgrade the software
i have just updated my friends binatone x350 uk and roi for him. go to
http://binatonegps.com/gps/_uk/support_service.php, click on map updates. it gives you a number to call which is an 0845 number but heres the cheaper number 01325 304473. The update is £32.99 which includes P+P, and comes on a 2GB SD, instructions and new manual for new software. Tom Tom and Garmin charge £35 to £40 for a direct download service one off so this isn't too expensive compared. The new layout is actually easier to use and addresses load up quicker when entered into the search bar. Hope this helps.
My 350requires update,how do i
This can be resolved for you by Binatone by calling 0845 345 9677. The brand new software and latest maps are £32.99 inc P+P. It is well worth it as this gives you the absolute latest maps available therefore newer than the ones in the shops, the only old part would be the plastic!
When i switch my x350
If the Sat Nav is under 12 months old and you have the receipt, this will be resolved for you by Binatone by calling 0845 345 9677. If it is over 12 months old or you do not have the receipt they can still resolve this for you by installing brand new software and uploading the latest maps for £32.99. It is well worth it as this gives you the absolute latest maps available therefore newer than the ones in the shops!
The navigation wont work on my binatone x350 for
The software needs reloading, if it is under 12 months old and you have the receipt, contact Binatone on 0845 345 9677 and they will organise for this to be done under the warranty. If the Sat Nav is over 12 months old or you do not have the receipt they can still resolve this for you if you pay £32.99 which will include brand new software and the latest maps available- it's worth it rather than purchasing a new Sat Nav!
My binatone x350 only show
Unfortunately the software needs reloading, if under 1 year old and you have the receipt contact Binatone on 0845 345 9677 and they will resolve this for you free of charge. If it is over 1 year old or you do not have the receipt they can resolve this for you for £32.99 which includes brand new software with latest maps.
Can not get it to
Sounds like the software needs re-loading, if you contact Binatone on 0845 345 9677 you can purchase brand new software with the latest maps for £32.99 inc P+P and an SD Card will be sent by First Class Post. This means you'll essentially have a brand new Sat Nav just in the same plastic- definitely worth doing!
HOW DO I DELETE ADRESSES
You can only delete the Recent Destinations and destinations in the Address Book, the Sat Nav will still store destinations you have entered and as new ones are entered the older ones will fall off the system when maximum is reached.
