If the memory card is not recognized in the PC or it is impossible to access the data on it, the controller on the card is damaged. There is only one way to get the data back, unsolder memory chips and directly access their raw data with a programable chip reader. Software can't help, that is a physical damage! Hello, there are actually two ways to do this.
1. Ensure that your manual allows you to do upgrades 2. Either go to the manufacturer website and download new maps 3. Or, you can update the GPS through your system settings right on the GPS device.

1. you need to download a picture viewer for Windows CE 4.2

2. Need to put it onto the SD card

3.when it done in addons.txt you need to add an extra line with the path.

4. FINISHED :)

I have one,what do you need from ?

I don't know how to fix it but i now a way of getting it back to it's original settings like formatting a computer so only do it if completely necessary. Insert the maps backup cd with your unit attatched to the computer by usb. An option of reinstalling original software will appear, click on this after 10 mins it should be back to how you first got it
