YES !!
Make sure you have a fully charged battery before downloading ur maps.... the map download my take up to an hour or so to upload...
once you charge your battery this is what you need to do:
Using the USB cable connect your gps to computer.... ( if you didnt get a usb cable you could use most camera usb cables they connect the same way )
your computer will detect new hardware, a autoplay box will pop up, you can minimise it

it too will detect your new unit and have you Register your GPS.... its free
Garmin will have you download WebUpDater utility this is what you need to transferr and open Maps
follow the easy directions your not long from completion..
