those are POST code, error codes, you need to watch time and count them. report them. leave the battery main out. does it run ok now? yes/no.? main battery out?. even new cheap batteries fail easy and hard and short out. test it with no main battery. it can run on AC power for ever. are you going to run the COIN cell RTC battery for 10 more years. it wont make it.. this PC is 10 years old today (can be) so is RTC battery end of life. most fail in 5 to 7 years, says the pink bunny. ever heard of HP.com ever heard of HP.com media install discs. or usb install sticks ask HP, on HP can fix a bad OS, its there system there , OS, HP makes up there own matching windows 8 system disks that only run on your DV7-2277cl do no use other disk.or it will fail,yes take it to town if this is not clear. start hear, get your disks from HP only or you will be sorry. check that you do not have a button on your keypad. or a switch on the side of your laptop. or check that your wireless icon is turnd on.

try putting the disc back in but dont let it load. then find your computer icon double click on it and it should take you to were it shows you your hard drive and the drive were your disc is in.right click on that and you will see were it says,open.. click open.and what that will do is what they call open the disc. when the disc opens you should see everything on that disc that you put on there when you copyed all your files,if they are not on there then iam sorry to say but you may have lost everything if you done a full format.best of luck.
