I need to find the battery cover for my camera its

Hi

Easiest place for a part like this is Ebay. Here is a lot of 3 VPC-S800 cameras for parts with a day left to go and a bid of 2 dollars!

http://cgi.ebay.com/4H-Lot-of-3-Sanyo-VPC-S880-8-1MP-Digital-Camera-AS-IS_W0QQitemZ350245937651QQcmdZViewItemQQptZDigital_Camera_Accessories?hash=item518c48e1f3&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

Otherwise these parts could be difficult enough to obtain. You will need to put in a special order as these will not be carried in normal stock.

I have used these guys before for special orders. Try this email and hopefully you might just get a result

Hope this helps. Please do rate my answer. Thanks.

Lens will not retract on Sanyo VPC-T850, 8.1 megapixel, digital

Did you drop your camera? If yes you either damaged the lense mechanical parts. If some dust or small particle are on the side of the lense, it may prevent the lense from opening up. If the lense opens up and down a little bite try to pull it out by have very softely. If it opened fully, clean up the outside of the lense and turn your camera a few times. If it does not have a mechanical problem, it should be back to normal. If above did not help, the lense has to be taken out and inspect for broken or damaged parts and clean it and put it back on the camera.

Good Luck!!!!

Camera comes on then turns right back off

use NIMH batt. NIMH gives you 1.2 power good for camera
ALCALINE & NICD gives 1.5 v which is bad and will discharge soon.
so use NIMH 2500 / 3200

I have a sanyo camera

In the first case, if the camera turns off by itself with lens not retracting, try fresh alkaline battery. If that does not work, then the ribbon cable from battery charger to mainboard inside the camera is probably causing the problem.
An internal contact can also cause same problem.

If instead pictures are completely black, then there are several possible reasons:

1 There is a setting problem, remove and put back batteries to fix the problem.
2 The camera curtain is stuck and it is not opening.
3 The CCD sensor is faulty, more likely the ccd sensor contacts are broken.
4 The lens assembly has an internal problem.

Apart situation 1 , in all the remaining cases the camera will need repair.

Regards.

Card Error

Are you getting this error with the card?

If so, insert the card into the computer. Make sure you get all the files off before you continue. Then go to my computer, right click on the drive, click properties, click the tools tab and click check now. Just do Automatically fix file system errors and click start. This should successfully find errors if present on the card and fix it. You may lose a picture or two if you don't transfer all of them first. Or you could format the card by right clicking on the card drive and clicking format.

If you get the error on the camera without the card in it, turn it on and click mode button twice to get to the picture display (it should be a black screen with "memory error" on top). Then press menu and use the 4-way button to go to the right for Setup. Then use the 4-way button to go down to format to format the camera.

This should fix it.

Memory Error appears on screen

Just had this problem myself. What you do is press the Mode button twice until it shows a black background with the words Memory Error on top of it (this should be the picture preview mode). Then press the Menu button and press the 4-way button right to enter the Setup Menu. Go down and Format the camera and that will fix it.

Good luck.

Camera wont turn on

Take the batteries out. Install the batteries making sure they are inserted according to the camera diagram on the inside cover. Once the batteries have been installed correctly turn the camera on. If it does not turn on, check the ON/OFF Switch.

When I take a picture there is such a long delay

Hi,

Probably you are using the slowest memorycard. If it is a Olympus you have an XD card. Buy the fastest card it's more expensive but worth! You can buy the high speed from Olympus.
