It sounds like a hardware error. Anytime you replace parts such as a screen and then update the software you need to restart the phone a few times to get the bugs worked out. However if you have tried this and your still having problems it's a hardware issue. Something mechanical in that phone has failed. Its really not uncommon as all parts have a life expectancy. However that life could be shortened by dropping the phone/ damaging the components. Check your graphics connection, it may have become loose and that is what is causing the screen to flicker. Should be an easy fix.
Possible that the switch on micro switch which triggers from the slide cover is damaged and so does not switch on. You might need to remvoe to find this fault and replace the switch, set the alignment once again or refix the switch .
Thanks for using FixYa. Please check the sim card first because it might not be making good contact to the prongs. It's not the phone causing the ‘no network coverage’ issue, it's either the sim needs to be removed and wiped off with a soft cotton material and then reinserted or it's the network having problems itself. Also try the sim card in another phone. If it works, then the problem is with the handset. If the sim doesn't work in another handset then contact your network provider to get the sim replaced. If it is still under warranty you'll need to take it back where you purchased it from to get it repaired or replaced. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance. Thanks Rylee
looks like your phone is locked. where did you get your phone from? was your phone working with your sim card or some other network previously? try inserting the sim card if your phone already had a card in it. if it works with that sim and doesnt work with other sim then your phone is a locked one. you need to unlock it and use it with other sim card. you can unlock it using codes. you can get the codes from Unlocking4U.com else if other sim card too didnt work in your phone then your phone has a problem and do take it to a nearest service provider.
