BenQ DC C640 Digital Camera Questions & Answers
Convert mov movies wmv
Most digital cameras are made to shoot pictures and lots can shoot video too. But cameras are not made to view videos or pictures, not shot with that camera. So no use sending videos to your camera, because It will be very difficult to find a converter, that is capable of making a video that will fit in and can be played on your BenQ. If you want to convert videos, try this on your PC with special software. You can get converter software for free on he net. Like Freemake Video Converter of VLC.
When i try to take
SD type cards have a little switch on the card that can write protect or "lock" it. Take the card out of the camera and check this switch. To unlock it, it should be moved towards the edge of the card which has the electrical contacts.
There is also a software protection feature on some cameras, but this is used to protect a folder or individual picture from accidental deletion, not the whole memory. You set or release this protection from the camera menus.
If it is not that, then maybe it is having trouble with the size of the memory. Memory cards have grown enormously in capacity in the last couple of years, and even relatively new cameras may not be able to cope with the memory size of the newest cards. Have you tried formatting the card in the camera? This would be one way of making sure that the camera can cope with the card, and it will also erase anything on the card.
I put new recharged batteries (Energizer ACCU
No, the batteries cannot make such problems. The problem may be with the navigator key itself. Try to remove the rear cover of camera and look under the navigator buttons. You must clean the mainboard and the buttons with alcohol and carefully remove any stain spots if exists. I have a similar camera and i observed that this type of camea are drawing a lot of current from the batteries so any battery i used died in under a year of moderate usage. My advice is to sell this camera and buy a quality Olimpus or Canon instead.
