HP LaserJet CP1215 Color Printer Questions & Answers
HP Color LaserJet CP1215 jamming on print a lot
Printers can be finicky. Ours at church works with no problems until we bought a different brand/weight of paper, then it jammed frequently. That is the first thing I would check. Then, the next thing is the rollers can get slightly worn. When you're talking less-than paper thickness tolerances, it doesn't take much to make a difference between working and jamming. Unfortunately getting these worked on is close to if not right at the cost of a new one.
Why is it stuck on initializing?
You have to do factory reset combination to the printer ro clear the NVRAM. Google the reset codes for your model.Regards, Mike
What would make my black word barely print when my color is fine
If it's only the black that's effected it suggests that it's a problem with the toner cartridge rather than the printer itself. It may be a faulty toner cartridge, especially if you use cheap compatibles rather than genuine HP branded ones. You could try taking it out of the printer and giving it a good shake to make sure that the toner is evenly distributed in the cartridge. If that doesn't help then I think you need to replace the black cartridge. I had that problem with one of my colour cartridges but everything was fine after I replaced it.
What is the 59 co.error turn off turn on ? printer modle is hp 1215 colour laserjet pcl
I presume you are referring to the HP Model CP1215. The error 59.C0 error appears to refer to a mechanical error: Developer motor rotation error.
The recommended action is 1. Turn off the power by using the power switch, wait at least 30 seconds, and then turn on the power and wait for the device to initialize. 2. If the problem continues, contact HP Customer Support Center for technical assistance.
Your printer could be about 5 years old by now, so if this is a recurring problem you might be nearing the time for a replacement which might be less costly than taking your printer to be serviced.
